Red awoke with a jolt. She looks around to find her in her and Chloe's bedroom. How did she get here? She was pretty sure she passed out on the kitchen floor. However she is very grateful that she's here and not there. She does not need her kids worrying about her. The thoughts that went through her mind last night frightened her. No, they terrified her. She's never felt this way before. Not even when her mom was a tyrant who couldn't care less about her unless she was vandalising the city.

But her mind just wouldn't shut up. She rubs the sleep out of her eyes and that's when she sees her. Chloe. Her eyes went wide as she saw her ex-wife laying next to her sleeping peacefully. She checks under the blanket for a quick second. Ok good, nothing happened. Actually, Red wasn't sure if she was relieved that nothing happened, considering she doesn't remember much of last night, her mental breakdown causing her to draw a blank. She wasn't sure what was going on with her. Ever since her kids told her about her other life that she once had. A life with her and Chloe still being together, she couldn't stop thinking about it. It made her happy and depressed at the same time. To think in some alternative timeline, her and Chloe are still together. Still married. Still in love. But they didn't have Cruz and Cromwell. While the thought of her and Chloe still being together certainly made her heart beat faster, the thought of never having her younger kids doesn't sit well with her. She can't imagine a life without her kids. But then again, when you mess with the fabric of time, everything can change. Maybe she does have her younger children, maybe they just weren't born yet, maybe they're born at a later time.

Regardless, the pocket watch is gone. There's nothing anyone can do now, and no one can accidentally go back and do even worse damage. What could be worse than losing your wife, you say? How about her being erased from existence? Or Red herself? She has thought about that, but she figured maybe people might be better off without her. But then it came down to Chloe. Would she really be better off if Red had never existed? And the kids? There are no kids if there's no Glassheart, which is what their friends started calling them back in school. Red makes way downstairs and sees breakfast ready on the table. "Hey! I was hoping you would wake up soon. The kids are still asleep. Can we talk?" Chloe motions for her to sit. Red looks at the table filled with food, not even leaving one inch to rest your elbows. They did have four kids after all. "Um, sure." Red walks over and sits down. Chloe walks up and sits next to her, which surprised Red to say the least. "I've been thinking a lot about last night and our argument, conversation? Whatever the hell you want to call it. And if you're still willing, I'd like to give us a chance again." Chloe stares at her. Red just stares back in awe.

Was this real? Is she still asleep? Is she dreaming? She slowly stands. "Are you serious?" She asks. Chloe smiles and nods. "Yes." "Are you serious?" Red repeats herself. Chloe giggles before she grabs Red's hand and places a kiss on top. "Yes, just maybe...take things a little slow." Red nods. "Absolutely, whatever you want, princess. I mean, my queen." She smiles at her and admires her beauty. Chloe blushes. "Come on, let's wake up the kids." Red couldn't believe it, she was on cloud nine. Yet, there was this aching feeling in her heart. This nagging voice inside her head wouldn't shut up. She's only doing it out of pity for you. She quickly shakes those thoughts away. No, Chloe was here and she was willing to give this a try again. But can she truly escape the demons that lurked in her mind? The ones that have been festering there for years? It's not like she's never had these thoughts before. Her mother used to be a tyrant, depression kind of came with the description. But can she manage it? Only time will tell.
