The cold night air was a refreshing change. You rarely ventured out to your balcony but you need to be alone with your thoughts.

You were furious at Aemond, how could he hurt Aegon? There was no disputing it, you dreamed it through Aegon's own eyes... And after what he had done, he had the gall to demand you fly with him?

You twisted and stretched your pained wrist. Hurting you was something you thought Aemond incapable of... Apparently you were mistaken.

Footsteps approached from the stairwell behind you. It could only be one person, only he had higher authority than you to open your quarters.

"Sister, we share the same blood you and I. I know you wish no harm to anyone but in a time like this, when the good of the realm depends on us..."

His hand grazed your arm but you didn't flinch, refusing to show he had power over you. The city of flea bottom below was peaceful under the stars... A contrast to the city of ash Aemond would rule over in your recurring dream.

"Our mother is no dragon rider, she can not understand, that you and I have a truer call to heed." He stepped closer to you again, his uneasy breaths tickled at your neck.

"Come with me, to Harrenhall? We will lay waste to Daemon and his army. Let our enemy see that we will answer outrage with outrage." His voice broke for the first time since you were children, his desperation clear.

Despite your boiling blood, you remained stoic. Everyone in his life was scared of him and his fiery temper. It was time someone stood up to him, and who better than his closest childhood friend and sister.

"And if I refuse? Will you burn me as you did Aegon?"

He stood in silence behind you for an eternity before breaking it.

"That is a lie-"

You spun to face him, he was utterly perplexed at your accusation.

"I saw it, you burned him and you let him fall."

A tear bubbled in his good eye under it's fluttering lid. For some time you had been eager to share this knowledge with him and his reaction didn't disappoint. The unwavering, fearsome Aemond, stunned at the words of his sweet sister.

"What you say is treason."

Was it not enough for him? You had seen everything and shared it with him and he didn't believe you? Or was he merely doubling down in his deceptions? How could this be treason if Aegon was king?

"Aegon will be king again. He is yet to see victory. He sits on a wooden throne and you..." You stared down at his features that you had once adored as children... How they had hardened under years of torment and neglect. It stung you to say what was next.

"You'll be dead. You were swallowed up in the gods eye and you were never seen again."

It made you uneasy to see him this upset and still. He blinked away the tear in his eye, fury building on his face. He gritted his teeth and his breaths grew heavy.

"I could have you killed." He whispered an empty threat, you knew he would never make true on.

"It wouldn't change anything." You brushed past him, heading toward the stairs when he spun around and grabbed you forcefully again.

"You're a dreamer? Why didn't you tell us... tell me?" His brow furrowed in realisation.

"Do you think it was from a lack of trying, brother? Who was I but the idiot sister that mumbled nothings. I warned you of the cost you would pay to fly. I told Aegon the rats would be our downfall and your s- Nephew paid the ultimate price." You writhed out of his grip and made for the stairs again but he stepped infront of you.
