Author's POV :
Adhwik Rishi Sharma had just finished recording his latest song and he came home tiredly in the evening. His sister, Preeti, greeted him at the door with a curious look on her face.
"Why did you accept to become the chief guest of the fest?" she asked him.
Adhwik sighed and replied, "I thought it would be a good opportunity to connect with my fans and also relieve my college days. " Preeti nodded
Born into a family of immense wealth and influence, Adhwik was destined for greatness from the moment he took his first breath. The eldest son of Anita and Ajay Sharma, a powerhouse couple known for their Charity and business chains, he was groomed to take over the family empire. However, his heart sang a different tune. At the age of 18, he discovered his passion for music, which grew into an undeniable talent. Despite initial resistance, his parents eventually supported his decision to pursue a career in singing, seeing the joy and impact it brought to both him and those around him.
As he sat at the dinner table with his family, his father Ajay Sharma brought up the upcoming fest. "Are you excited for the fest, son?" Ajay asked, breaking Adhwik out of his thoughts.
Adhwik nodded, a small smile playing on his lips. "I am, Dad. It's always an honor to be a part of such events."
Preeti, who was sitting next to him, nudged him gently. "You know, Ahana is really looking forward to meeting you at the fest. She's your biggest fan, you know."
Adhwik's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "Ahana? Who is she?"
Preeti chuckled. "She's my best friend, Adhwik Bhai. I can't believe you've never heard of her before. She's been talking about you non-stop ever since she found out you were going to be the chief guest. Also she didn't even know that you are my brother."
Adhwik felt a strange flutter in his chest at the mention of Ahana's name. He couldn't explain it, but there was something about her that gathered his interest. He made a mental note to find out more about her at the fest.
After dinner, Preeti turned to Adhwik with a pleading look in her eyes. "Can you drop me to college tomorrow, Adhwik Bhai? Please? I promise it won't take long."
Adhwik hesitated for a moment, but seeing the hopeful look on Preeti's face, he finally relented. "Fine, I'll drop you. But you owe me one, Preeti."
Preeti grinned, giving him a quick hug. "Thank you, Adhwik Bhai. You're the best brother ever."
As they finished dinner and bid goodnight to their parents, Adhwik couldn't shake off the feeling of anticipation that had settled in his heart. He was looking forward to the fest more than ever now, eager to finally meet the mysterious Ahana who had captured his attention without even trying.
Adhwik woke up to the sound of his alarm blaring in his ear. He groaned and rolled over, rubbing his eyes as he tried to wake himself up. Today was going to be a busy day. Preeti had asked him to drop her off at college, and then he had a full day of recording at the studio.
After getting ready, Adhwik slipped on his favorite pair of sunglasses and a mask to hide his identity. Being a famous singer had its perks, but it also meant that he couldn't go anywhere without being recognized. He didn't mind the attention, but sometimes he just wanted to be a normal guy.
As he drove Preeti to college, Adhwik couldn't shake off the feeling of curiosity that had taken over his mind ever since his sister had mentioned Ahana. He had never heard of her before, but the way Preeti spoke about her made him intrigued. He couldn't help but wonder what kind of person she was and why he had never crossed paths with her before.
After dropping Preeti off, Adhwik made his way to the studio. He had a few songs lined up for recording, and he was eager to get started. Music was his passion, and he poured his heart and soul into every song he sang.
As he stepped into the studio, he was greeted by his producer and the rest of the team. They exchanged pleasantries and got down to work, the familiar hum of the recording equipment filling the room. Adhwik closed his eyes and let the music wash over him, losing himself in the melody.
Hours passed in a blur as Adhwik sang his heart out, pouring his emotions into each note.
As the day drew to a close, Adhwik stepped out of the studio, feeling drained but satisfied. He had poured his heart and soul into his music, and he knew that his fans would appreciate it.
