Chris announces his departure to his family in an emotional tone, his throat tightening slightly as their eyes are fixed on him.
– We're gonna miss you even more, honey...
The little blond-haired woman walks towards her son and takes him tenderly in her arms, fully enjoying this embrace as she knows she won't be able to take her son in her arms for a while after he gets back to California.
Goodbyes were always extremely heartbreaking.
Having to watch the person you love walk away into the distance, knowing you won't see them again for a long time.
Tears form in the corners of the woman's eyes as she steps back to cup her son's face in her hands and place a kiss on his forehead.
– Take care of yourself.
– Mom...
He was moved every time. He didn't like seeing his mother cry.
– Don't cry... Or I'll cry too.
He smiled tenderly at her, wiping her tears with his thumbs. The woman let out a slight laugh before bursting into tears despite the people around her.
She couldn't help it. It was too painful to see her child go far away again.
Chris laughs softly, taking his mother in his arms as he looks at his father and his little brother behind them.
– Don't worry Chris, I'll cheer her up.
His father said with an amused smile on his lips.
Seungjin, for his part, was looking at Chris with a touch of sadness drawn on his face and in his gaze.
When his mother separated from her son, she let him share the same treatment with his brother and father. He took them in turn in his arms to hug them tightly.

His father told him, offering him an amused smile to hide his sorrow, to which Chris responded with an amused laugh.

The little family watches Chris until they can't see him anymore, and finally, they return home, their hearts heavy but their minds filled with beautiful memories.
