"Wei-" Blake step forward, trying to ask something when suddenly the train were wrecking. Sounding so familiar they would not guess otherwise. "They're here." hummed Weiss knowingly. "Come on!" Weiss ran out the coach, slipping through them without bumping.
More grimm appears by the second as they eliminating them. Each time one was taken down another pack would flew into their range of sight. Thankfully, a tunnel was up ahead, given the huntsman some time. Though one of them weren't as safe and sound as the others.
A loud thud resounds through one of the somewhat empty coach. Curtesy of the non huntsman passengers, giving them a somewhat enough space to their unheard chattering. Two huntsman were at odds, one old dusty crow were standing before the other who had an injured arm from the impact right before he was actually in the train.
Their argument were not helping in the slightest. Ruby kept her worrying eyes at her uncle, one can tell she doesn't like this situation. No child in Remnant would like any loud and angry noise. It's just- startling. "What an annoyance." Weiss said under her breath as she fast walk towards them. Using her aura to amplify strength, Weiss were able to separate the two huntsman albeit only a distance. "Not the time Qrow." Weiss said sternly, definitely fed up with him.
"This yelling isn't helping and those turrets on the roof are at least killing the grimm from afar where We can't Reach mind you!" It's not an ideal way to handle oncoming grimm but it does help. "Now we only have so little time, so why not spent it on ideas to deal with them." the old crow was about to retort during Weiss' scold but instead stood aghast by each of her emphatised words as she points to nowhere in particular of those creatures whereabouts.
Seeing the ordeal getting settled by none other than her partner, Ruby got an idea as to how to deal with the Grimm once they reach an end of this tunnel. And thus she spoke with unyielding determination. Though if that plan of hers had truly bare a flavourful fruit- is out of the question since the same scene the heiress sees in her dreams repeated, much to her expectation of it.
The only thing that differs than before were her lunging at Qrow for his banter with that huntsman and her little side show in their coach. So when team RWBY, Qrow, Oscar and an old lady were send astray from the train tracks? She was not surprised the slightest bit.
The yellow dragon had been pulling her motorcycle out of the piles of snow and was successful only to fall on her butt. Each person's had gotten themselves up from the collision by now. From the corner of her eye, Weiss saw Ruby picking up what's left of her ammo from the snow covered ground. And let's not forget the surprise they got from that old lady suddenly appearing. Weiss giggled silently, it was kinda funny when you see a replaying scene that only you remember.
Getting back on the task at hand, they'll be arriving at the dreadfully infested Grimm farm at this pace. But before that- Ozpin is about to be confronted. Weiss sharpens her eyes immediately when she heard Yang had started expressing her concerns and dissatisfactions.
While in the midst of their confrontation, Weiss had remained silent the whole time- knowing exactly what would happen regardless of her intervention. Thinking back, Ozpin had plausible reasons for his actions towards them. Keeping secrets, letting them a free pass without batting an eye for their deeds whether it was fruitful or not, watching over them in the shadows as one could say to keep them in check. To not turn out like Lionheart.
It was reasonable why he didn't say everything to us. But being the naive and short sighted children we are- we did him wrong too, blaming him of all people. He was just a broken and pathetic man whose wife- Ehem, ex-wife by now, is a totem of the destruction of Remnant. Who in their right mind would stay sane after all that.
