Chapter 1 - That Aromatic Smell

Sounds of the wind chime ringing when I swing opened the door and I could smell the aroma of the coffee beans coming right through from behind that counter. Behind that counter stood a fine young man with full blond hair and puppy eyes. He looks really cute and charming when he puts on his uniform and apron. Plenty of his regular customers are girls who have been admiring him since our high school days. Last but not least, he's my childhood bestie, playmate and buddy, Kim Taehyung.

Taehyung: "Hey Sun Hee! There you are~ Why are you so late today?"

Me: "Yoz~ Wassup Taehyungie!~ I have assignments to do in uni and Jimin ishelping me with it and so I was late... Sorry!~"

Taehyung: "Ahhh~ I see~ Then where's Jimin? He's not with you...?"

Suddenly the cafe door swung open again.

Jimin: "Yozzz Bro!! Looking for me?" Jimin started to giggle.

Taehyung: "Hey bro!!! You're finally here. I was wondering where you are. As usual for the both of you?" Taehyung began to smile.

Taehyung is well known for his boxy charming smile and this is also the reason why most of his coffee drinkers are girls. I not sure if that is a bad thing or not but at least this helps to bring the cafe more businesses. Hahaha~ Taehyung had decided not to further his studies in university back then so that he could pursue his dream of opening a cafe to realise his cafe and coffee dreams. He really has a lot of passion in coffee and no one can deny about that. And his coffee making skills are well known here too.

Taehyung then brought our drinks to the table which we're sitting at and started sitting down too. "There you go~ Enjoy!~ And the croissants are on the house."

Jimin: "Woah~ That's so nice of you bro!! But it is making us feel bad at the same time. You always wouldn't want us to pay you back or anything."

Taehyung: "This is something the least that I could do to support my buddy, Sun Hee and her best friend." Taehyung winked at my direction.

"You know that I will always support you, Sun Hee. Since the first day we have met since we were a kid, I have always feel something special about you..." Taehyung thought to himself as he looked over at Sun Hee.

"Taehyungie!~ Taehyungie!~ Are you okay? Why are you looking at me like that? Is there something on my face?" I asked Taehyung while waving my hand in front of him.

Taehyung: "Oh~ I'm sorry! I was just staring into space. Don't worry. Haha! Alright! Time for me to serve my customers at the counter. Catch you guys later!~" Taehyung chuckled and walked back to the counter as a queue was already forming up.I quickly turned my head around and saw a queue forming up at the counter. I then continued to look over at Taehyung's direction and saw him doing all his barista stuffs. From making coffee to pulling a design on the milk foam to serving his customers and all these are just so satisfying to watch. I really do feel proud of him, my buddy.
