Chapter 27 - I Don't Love You

Few weeks later, the police were seen outside Soo Yong's house, trying to get hold of Soo Yong who wasn't at home at the point of time when the police came. Taehyung and Soo Yong had went out earlier only to find out that the police were standing outside Soo Yong's house when they came back. Of course Taehyung know what is going on but not Soo Yong.

Soo Yong: "I wonder what had happened, Taehyungie."

Police: "Excuse me, may we ask if you are Ms Choi Soo Yong?"

Soo Yong: "Erm~ Yes, I am...May I know what is going on?"

Police: "You have been suspected to be involved in the falling incident of Ms Kyo Sun Hee that happened 1 year plus ago. Please do cooperate and come back to the police station with us."

Soo Yong: "Wait! What?! How did you all managed to find..."

*Recording of Soo Yong's conversation on the phone with the other party was being played*

Soo Yong's eyes grew bigger. "Taehyungie...No...Kim Taehyung!! Did you recorded this without my knowing???!!! And when did you recorded this??? Why are you doing this to me??? I thought I am your girlfriend??? So what is going on here?!!"

Taehyung: "I don't love you at all, Soo Yong. Nothing had happened between us that night after we drank. I just removed my clothes and yours but nothing has happened and I wasn't drunk too. I did it to convince you that something did happened between us and I will take responsibility for it. And I only became your boyfriend to get close to you so that I could gather evidence that you were the one who had pushed Sun Hee down the staircase. I had suspected that it was you all along when the incident had happened. You made Sun Hee went into a coma! It was you who had did this to her!"

Soo Yong: "So you never once loved me at all? Meaning that you have been pretending to be with me and love me the whole time??" Soo Yong cried.

Taehyung: "YES! I have never once loved you. My entire heart belongs to Sun Hee and this will never ever change. My love for her has never changed at all. Not even a second! She is all that I have and I will protect her with whatever I have, even if it means to sacrifice my own life!"

Soo Yong: "Wow...I have been deceived by you, Kim Taehyung. You are really a good actor. I love you with all my heart and this is what I get from you now...All for revenge, huh?"

Taehyung: "Yes. Sorry, but not sorry at all!"

Police: "Enough talking the two of you. We are now taking Ms Choi Soo Yong back with us for investigation. You too, Mr Kim Taehyung. You have to come with us for statement taking as well."

Taehyung: "I am more than happy to do that, Officer."So the police took Soo Yong and Taehyung back for further investigations. And Soo Yong eventually admitted to what she had done after nearly 48 hours of grilling and was being charged for it. She has been sentenced to jail for 2 years and will be fined for not more than 5 million won.
