A Day in the Life of a Demigod

Did Leo ever think he was going to be riding a metal dragon? Absolutely not. Was it amazing and the best thing ever? DUH!

As he grinned to himself, face frozen from the wind, Leo couldn't help but be amazed by what he had done. He managed to find the dragon that was attacking campers and repair it. He did what no one else could.

He turned back to face the other two passengers, Jason and Piper. Piper was in the middle of them two and had a sad expression on her face. Jason had a paper in hand.

"What's that?" Leo asked.

"What's what?"

"The paper in your hand?" Leo answered.

"Oh," Jason smiled. "Funny story, apparently I have a sister."

Piper gasped. "Jason that's—what—who?"

"Her name is Thalia." Jason shoved the paper into his Jean pocket. "She joined the hunters of Diana, I mean Artemis, a few years back. She's also a friend of Annabeth."

Piper nodded and Leo turned back to look to where they were headed.

So, finding the god of the north winds was tougher than Piper thought it would be.

To start off, those idiotic brothers were insufferable. Cal was... okay. But Zethes? Ugh, Piper shuddered just thinking about him.

Then there was Khione. Was she really freaking attractive? Hell yeah—or underworld yeah? But did she try to kill them? Unfortunately, yes.

She was very flirty with Jason, who awkwardly shook her off. Zethes was the same with Piper and oh gods was that the worst experience of Pipers life.

And after they managed to survive Boreas, they mounted Festus again and set off to—drum roll please—Chicago.

Compliments were thrown around the trio, things about Pipers charm speak and such. She eventually gave in to her sleepiness and practically passed out on Jason's chest.

And then there was the falling off fetus and tumbling through the sky thing. Fun.

Thankfully, Jason grabbed both her and Leo before they decorated the ground with demigod goop. However, Festus dropped with no saving grace to save him. Pun intended.

Leo struggled against Jason's grasp for a couple seconds before stopping. It was obvious he was crying just by the way he was shaking.

Jason couldn't hold them forever. They dropped onto the nearest warehouse. It was the largest as well. Piper crashed through the roof and stupidly tried to land on her feet.

She gritted her teeth and cursed. Nothing like a broken ankle to spice things up?
