PART 08
BANG
The next day, the class was excited when Aizawa revealed that they would be having a special class for basic hero training.
"Wait, so what're we doing exactly?" Sero asked, his hand raised high, but his expression was curious.
Aizawa hummed, seeming prepared for this question as he reached into his scarf, pulling out a card that had the word 'RESCUE' printed in big letters on it. "We will be doing rescue training." He said simply, stuffing the card back into his pocket.
He then clicked a button on a remote to release the hero costume cases. "So, it's up to you guys on whether or not you're going to wear your costume or not. Some of them aren't really meant for this activity, but it's still your decision. Also, the training is going to be on a remote site, so we're going to be traveling on a bus. Get ready."
Ryou hummed to himself, debating on whether or not he wanted to wear his costume or not.
After spotting Uraraka and Iida standing up to fetch their cases, he felt compelled to follow suit.
-
When the class arrived to the bus, Iida was already trying to corral everyone into the bus in an orderly fashion, which was expected of the uptight boy to do.
Unfortunately, his enthusiasm was all for naught, as it turned out the bus had a different layout to the one that he was organizing the class for.
Ryou chuckled a bit, sitting across from Iida, who had his elbows placed on his knees and his head bowed in defeat. He sat next to Uraraka and across them, Midoriya sat next to Iida.
Next to Uraraka sat Asui, who wasted no time in saying something that attracted the attention of those who were listening in.
"Generally I say what's on my mind." She began, alerting Midoriya.
"Oh, what is it, Asui?" He asked immediately, looking nervous despite her not really saying anything yet.
"Call me Tsu, kero," She ribbited, her expression blank, "Your quirk resembles All Might's." She said bluntly, her head turned to watch Midoriya's reaction.
Ryou raised a brow, surprised at her words. Then, after thinking about it some, he realized that she had a point.
"Well, the only difference is that All Might doesn't get super injured, like how Midoriya does! But that doesn't make his quirk any less awesome, especially because of how many cool things you can do with it!" Kirishima pointed out, pumping his fist in excitement. "It's not like my hardening quirk. I'm good for combat, but it's honestly pretty boring."
Midoriya was quick to remind Kirishima about how his quirk was still suited for a pro-hero career.
Ashido perked up at this, pointing a finger in the air, "Well, it's true that his quirk is good for going Pro, but don't forget that they also have to worry about being popular and appealing!" She pointed out, clapping her hands together.
Aoyama stuck his nose up in the air, and Ryou swore he could see sparkles surrounding him. "My quirk is strong and cool, which is perfect for a pro!" He boasted, but was quickly shut down by Ashido, who promptly pointed out his weakness.
"Well, if you wanna talk strong and cool, then who else would fit the bill other than Todoroki and Bakugo?" Kaminari piped up.
"Not Bakugo, he's too unhinged. He'll never be popular." Tsu said bluntly, which caused Bakugo to start cursing at her, proving her point perfectly.
