A new day dawned and Gunwook felt as tired as ever, having to get up early again for his morning lecture.

Gunwook trudged through the campus, his early morning lecture a struggle. Despite his best efforts to be civil, he couldn't shake off the lingering annoyance he felt towards Hyebin from last night. He'd been tired and irritable, and her irritation had only added fuel to the fire. After his lecture, Gunwook headed to the campus cafe, where he planned to grab a coffee before his next class. As he waited in line, he spotted Hyebin sitting alone at a table, her head buried in her books. An evil grin spread across his face as he saw an opportunity to poke a little more fun at her expense.

He walked over to her table, his steps light and casual. "Well, if it isn't Miss Exhausted," he said with a smirk, leaning on the back of her chair. "Still doing your homeowork, I see."Hyebin looked up, her eyes narrowing at the sight of him. "What do you want, Gunwook?""Just checking in on my favorite study buddy," he replied, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "I thought I'd see if you're still struggling with that massive assignment."Hyebin sighed, trying to focus on her notes. "Seriously, Gunwook? Can't you just leave me alone for once?"

"Aw, come on," he said, pulling out a chair and sitting down across from her. "I'm just trying to keep things interesting. Besides, you looked like you could use a break." "Yeah, well, your idea of a break is pretty annoying," Hyebin shot back, her frustration evident. "And I don't have time for you and your stupid ass."

Gunwook leaned in slightly, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "my stupid ass? I'm just trying to lighten the mood. You seem awfully stressed. Maybe you need someone to take your mind off work."Hyebin rolled her eyes, clearly not in the mood for his antics. "If you're here to tease me, you can leave. I have a lot to do."

"Oh, I'm not teasing," Gunwook said, chuckling. "I'm just being friendly. You know, offering to help out." "Help? You? Please," Hyebin replied, shaking her head. "Last time you were here, you made things worse. I'd rather deal with this on my own."

Gunwook leaned back in his chair, looking amused. "Alright, alright. But you know, it's kind of fun watching you get all worked up. It's like you're bout to crash out or something."

Hyebin shot him a frustrated look. "And you're just good at annoying people. Congrats."Gunwook shrugged, still smirking. "Guilty as charged. But hey, at least I'm not boring, like you right?"Before Hyebin could respond, Gunwook's phone buzzed. He glanced at it, his grin widening.

"Hey, I just remembered—there's a big party tonight. You should come. It'll be a nice break from all this work."

Hyebin's eyes widened in disbelief. "Are you serious? I'm barely keeping up with my assignments, and you want me to go to a party?"

"Yep," Gunwook said, his tone nonchalant. "It'll be fun, and you might actually enjoy yourself. Plus, it's a chance to prove you're not just a workaholic." Hyebin shook her head, exasperated. "I don't think so. I've got too much to do tonight."

Gunwook's grin didn't waver. "Suit yourself. But remember, I'll be here, and I'll always be ready to offer some 'help'—whether you like it or not." Hyebin tried to ignore him as he stood up, stretching casually. "Fine. Whatever. Just leave already."

As he walked away, Gunwook couldn't resist one last comment. "Good luck with your assignment! I'm sure you'll do great... or at least, I hope so." Hyebin didn't bother to respond, her eyes already back on her books.

The playful torment from Gunwook was annoying, but somehow, despite the frustration, it had become a familiar part of her routine. As much as she hated to admit it, there was a strange, almost perverse comfort in their ongoing back-and-forth.

The rest of the day passed in a blur of assignments and lectures for Hyebin, with Gunwook's teasing lingering in the back of her mind. She knew he was likely to keep pushing her buttons, and while it was infuriating, she couldn't help but wonder if their dynamic would ever change—or if it was destined to stay this way.
