Gunwook POV:

As Gunwook strolled across the campus quad, his mind drifted between classes and the party he had in mind for tonight. He spotted Ricky and Gyuvin lounging on a patch of grass, their usual spot. Their laughter rang like a siren, and he felt a familiar pull to join them.

"Hey, you guys!" he called, walking over. "What's the plan for tonight? Are we still on for that party?"

Ricky looked up, a grin spreading across his face. "Oh yea we should definitely go! I heard its gonna be lit."

Gyuvin rolled his eyes, smirking. "I'm down lol as long as I don't have to take care of you when you get drunk."

Gunwook chuckled, sitting down beside them. "Hey, i'm not gonna do it so Ricky you're on your own buddy. But I wanna meet some new people and have some fun"

As they talked, Gunwook couldn't help but think about Hyebin. He felt a little excited at the thought of her showing up. Would she be as uptight as usual, or would she surprise him? He leaned back on the grass just imagining the wild party he was gonna be at.

"So, what's the deal with you and Hyebin?" Ricky asked, nudging Gunwook with his elbow. "You two are like oil and water."

Gunwook laughed it off. "She just takes everything too seriously. I'm just trying to help her loosen up."

"Or drive her crazy," Gyuvin teased. "But honestly, you two are entertaining. It's like watching a sitcom."

Gunwook shrugged, a smirk on his face. "It's all in good fun. Besides, if she didn't have me to annoy her, who would?"

Hyebin POV:

Meanwhile, in her own corner of campus, Hyebin sat with her best friend Arin in the bustling student lounge. They shared a small table cluttered with textbooks and half-empty coffee cups, the hum of conversation swirling around them. Hyebin rubbed her temples, trying to shake off the annoyance from earlier that day.

"Ugh, Gunwook is such a pest," she grumbled, flipping through her notes. "I don't understand how he can be so carefree while I'm drowning in assignments."

Arin giggled a mischievous sparkle in her eyes. "Come on, you have to admit, he adds some flavour to your life. Without him, it would just be you and your books."

"Flavor? More like irritation," Hyebin replied, her voice thick with exasperation. "And he's always so smug about it."

Arin leaned back, her expression turning serious for a moment. "But seriously, Hyebin, you could use a break. Why not come to the party tonight? Just for a little fun?"

Hyebin shook her head. "I can't. I have too much to finish. And besides, I don't want to see him being all... well, Gunwook."

"Fine, but you're missing out," Arin said with a playful pout. "Just remember, I'm not going to let you lock yourself away forever. You need to have some fun, even if it's just a little."

As they studied, Hyebin found her thoughts drifting back to Gunwook. He was infuriating, but also oddly entertaining. She couldn't shake the feeling that their banter was something she liked a little, even if she didn't wanna admit it.

Gunwook POV:

Later that evening, Gunwook and his friends gathered at the party, the atmosphere electric with music and laughter. They blended into the crowd, dancing and joking with anyone they could. Gunwook loved moments like this—where the worries of school faded into the background and the only thing that mattered was enjoying life.

"Dude, look at that!" Ricky shouted over the music, pointing to a group of girls near the snack table. "Let's go introduce ourselves."

As they moved through the crowd, Gunwook felt a surge of excitement. He spotted a familiar face—Hyebin. She was with Arin, her expression a mix of irritation and amusement as Arin dragged her into conversations.

"Looks like she couldn't resist the temptation after all," Gunwook mused, a grin creeping onto his face. He nudged Gyuvin. "Let's go say hi."

Hyebin POV:

Hyebin was trying to enjoy herself at the party, but the noise and chaos made it hard to focus on anything other than the pile of assignments waiting for her. She felt out of place, surrounded by laughter and fun when all she wanted was to bury herself in her homework.

Then, she saw Gunwook across the room, and her heart sank. He was surrounded by friends, laughing and gesturing animatedly. The way he was in everyones attention. Why did he have to be so popular?

"Hyebin, come on! Let's go talk to him!" Arin urged, pulling her toward the group.

"No, I really don't want to," Hyebin protested, but Arin was already dragging her forward.

"Too late! You're here now, and you can't hide from him forever," Arin teased, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

Gunwook spotted them and instantly made his way over, a playful grin on his face. "Well, if it isn't my favourite workaholic! What brings you to this wild party?"

Hyebin rolled her eyes, but there was a flicker of amusement in her gaze. "I'm just here for the snacks, Gunwook. Don't get any funny ideas."

He leaned closer, a smirk playing on his lips. "Oh, I don't know. You look like you could use a little fun in your life."

As they bantered, Hyebin felt the familiar push and pull of their dynamic. Maybe this night wouldn't be so bad after all. With Arin cheering her on, she realized that perhaps, just perhaps, there was a little more to Gunwook than just being an annoying pest.

In that crowded room, surrounded by laughter and friendship, Hyebin found herself smiling. The chaos of university life was overwhelming at times, but it was these moments—both infuriating and delightful—that made it all worth it.
