Dimmsdalphia was buzzing with the usual energy of a Tuesday morning- Students hurrying to their lockers, teachers making their rounds, and the genreal chaos of teenage life is in full swing. Y/N Willowtwig, a 16 - year-old high school junior, navigated the crowded hallways with practiced ease. She was used to the daily grind, but lately, things had felt a little off.

You were at an awkward crossroad: juggling schoolwork, fighting through the turbulent waters of adolescence, and managing your less than perfect social life. Puberty had thrown you for a loop, leaving your feelings uncertain and out of place. Despite your outgoing personality, you sometimes felt like an outsider, struggling to find your footing among your peers.

Your best fiend is a dark skinned girl called Hazel, she is 14 Years old, so only a little younger than you. Hazels bubbly personality and quick wit provited a welcome distraction from your internal struggles. You two were inseparable, always found together, wether huddled in the corner of the cafeteria or laughing in the library over their favorite comic books.

Hazel and I had settled into our usual corner, but my mind was miles away. The past few weeks had been a whirlwind of stress, and I couldn't shake the feeling that nothing ever went right. As I poled at my lunch, Hazel glanced up from her sandwich, her brow furrowed with concern. "You seem really off today. What is going on?" I sighted, trying to keep my frustration in check. "It's just ... everything feels like it's falling apart. School is so overwhelming. I am barely keeping up with my assignments, and it feels like my parents don't even notice how stressed I am. They're always so wrapped up in their ow stuff."

Hazels eyes softened with sympathy: " I get it. It sounds rough. Somethimes it feels like the more you try, the harder it gets. But you're not alone. You've got me." She smiled big at me. I appreciated her support, but I couldn't help but feeling a pang of envy. Hazel's life seemed so much simpler. Her parents are always there for her, cheering her on at every turn. My own parents were great in their own way, but they were so cought up in their demanding jobs that they often missed the little things, like how I am feeling right now.

Later that evening, after Hazel and I parted ways, I trudged home, my mind still spinning. Our modest house was quiet, a stark contrast to the chaos I felt inside. My parents had a routine that left little room for anything but work and chores. I could hear the faint hum of their voices from the kitchen, but their conversations rarely touched on anything personal or emotional. At this point I am not sure they even like each other, not to imagine love each other.

As I lay in bed, staring at the ceiling, I couldn't help but feel a mix of frustration and sadness. I wished for something to change. Anything to make life feel less like an endless uphill battle. I just wanted a break, a chance to breathe without the constant pressure, and maybe just maybe loving parents...

Hazel's POV:

Back at home, Hazel was still thinking about her conversation with Y/N earlier. She was deeply concerned about you and wanted to do something to help. She couldn't shake the feeling that you deserved a little magic in your life, even if she didn't fully understand how. In the quit of her room, Hazel sat at her desk and tought about Cosmo and Wanda, her fairy godparents. She had always been careful not to talk about them openly, no one knows about them or their powers. But now, Hazel was determined to make a wish that would help you.

Hazel took a deep breath and whispered to herself, "Cosmo, Wanda, if you're listening ... Y/N needs a break. She's having a really tough time, and I wish there was something magical you could do to help her feel better."

Cosmo and Wanda's POV:

In their magic fairy world, Cosmo and Wanda were lounging on a cloud, enjoying a brief respite from their usual duties. Cosmo, with a goofy grin an playful demeanor, was tossing a cloud shaped pillow in the air, while Wanda was organizing their magical calendar.

When Hazel's wish reached them, Wanda's eyes lit up with concern: "Cosmo, it looks like Hazel has made a wish for her friend Y/N. She is going through a rough patch and could use a bit of magic. " Cosmo's eyes widened with exitement. "Oh , I love making wishes come true! What do you think we should do?" Wanda thought for a moment, then smiled. " Let's introduce Y/N to a bit of magic in her life. We'll help her find a way to cope with her stress and make her days a little brighter." Cosmo nodded enthusiastically, and with a wave of their wands, they began to prepare for their new mission. They knew that helping you would not only fulfill Hazel's wish but also add a touch of magic to your life.

Y/N POV:

The next morning, I woke up feeling slightly more hopeful, though I wasn't sure why. As I got ready for school, I noticed something strange - a tiny, shimmering object on my nightstand. It looked like a small, ornate locket. I picked it up and noticed that it had a delicate inscription: "A touch of magic"

I slipped the locket into my pocket and went about my day. Little did I know, this was the beginning of a series of magical events that would soon change my life in ways I couldn't have imagined.

When I arrived at school, things felt different - almost like there was a sense of possibility in the air. As I walked to my locker, I saw Hazel waiting for me, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Hey Y/N! How's it going todayyy?" Hazel asked, her enthusiasm barely contained. I smiled, feeling a glimmer of hope "Actually, today geels a bit better. I am but sure why, but I'm feeling more positive." Hazel's grin widened, clearly pleased with the way things were turning out. " I am glad to hear that. Sometimes, even a small change can make a big difference."

As we chatted and made out way to class, I couldn't help but wonder if there was more to this feeling than met the eye...
