Yeonjun has been zoning out. Not in a way that he used to. Usually his stares were empty, like he was looking deep into the abyss. Now? It's as if he was watching a meteor shower. Seeing the star dancing right in front of him.

Which, made his best friend confused. Taehyun doesn't know if he should be happy or should he admit Yeonjun to a facility.

"Dude."

Nothing.

"Yeonjun."

Silence.

"Yeonjun! Dammit—it's just like that day," Taehyun muttered.

Yeonjun blinked, finally snapping out of his trance. "Huh?"

Taehyun leaned back, crossing his arms. "I've been calling your name for the past minute. You okay?"

Taehyun stared at Yeonjun, trying to piece together what was going on in his head. Yeonjun had been acting strange since yesterday, and it wasn't the usual distant, cold vibe Taehyun was used to.

There was something... lighter about him. But he couldn't figure out what it was until Yeonjun broke the silence.

"I kissed Soobin." He whispered.

Taehyun's fork froze mid-air. He blinked, slowly lowering it back onto his tray. "Wait, what?" His deer-like eyes widened.

Yeonjun shrugged like it was no big deal, but the slight flush on his cheeks betrayed him. "It happened. Last night. Don't make a big thing of it."

Taehyun stared for a long moment before finally exhaling a laugh, leaning back in his chair. "You kissed him. And you're trying to act like it's not a big deal?"

"Shh! I'm not acting—"

"Yeonjun, you've been zoning out like a unicorn just floated across the room, and now you're telling me you kissed Soobin? You're not fooling anyone."

Yeonjun frowned, stirring the remnants of his lunch. "I just... didn't expect it, okay? But it's not like it changes anything."

Taehyun smirked knowingly. "Sure it doesn't. So, what's the plan now? You going to avoid him for a week or pretend nothing happened?"

Before Yeonjun could answer, Soobin, Beomgyu, and Hueningkai walked over, trays in hand, joining them at the table.

The air shifted slightly, and Taehyun immediately picked up on the subtle tension between Soobin and Yeonjun.

"So, what are we talking about?" Beomgyu asked, plopping down beside Taehyun with a grin.

Taehyun didn't miss a beat. "Oh, you know. Just the usual drama."

Yeonjun shot him a look, silently telling him to shut up.

Soobin, catching the silent exchange, raised an eyebrow but didn't push. Instead, he kept things light. "Drama, huh? You're not causing any trouble, are you, Yeonjun?"

Yeonjun glanced at Soobin, his expression unreadable. "Wouldn't dream of it."

Beomgyu leaned in, eyes darting between the two. "Am I the only one sensing some tension here?"

Hueningkai tilted his head, oblivious. "Huh? What drama? Tension between who?" He furrowed his eyebrows so hard that they might ended up merging into one.

Soobin chuckled, though it sounded a bit forced. "It's nothing. Just eat your lunch."

Taehyun smirked knowingly but said nothing, letting Soobin's deflection pass. He could sense Yeonjun wasn't ready to discuss it in front of everyone, and Soobin seemed to understand that too.
