I remember when I was young, my father used to tell me if I was chosen to be the next alpha of this pack, that I would need a strong Luna by my side. That nothing less than an Alpha could run this pack.

So why am I standing here looking at my mate who is nothing more than an omega, and let alone, a young omega who has no idea why I'm staring at him.

I stepped closer, ready to go talk to him but my something inside me snapped and told me to just walk away.

So I broke eye contact and walked away and acted as though nothing happened, even though, Kiiro, was screaming at me to go back and take him right then and there.

"Kiiro, no, I will not take an omega as my mate! I would be laughed at! And plus he isn't even old enough to smell me as his mate!" I huffed at her in my head.

"And you're also giving me a fucking headache so shush." I groaned.

"Oh shut up, he is our mate, the moon goddess chose him just for us, just you wait," she menacingly laughed at me and I just rolled my eyes. But nonetheless, she resided to the back of head and only cursed me out quietly, thank goddess.

I kept walking around trying to find Ingrid before I flipped my shit, and of course I bumped right into my father.

"Hey, baby, why do you look as though you are going to rip someone's head off?" He nervously laughed.

"Nothing dad, I just need a drink and to find Ingrid," I rushed out trying to end this conversation before it even started.

"Are you sure?" He started to reach for my shoulder but I side stepped him.

"Yes dad, I'm fine, just, have you seen Ingrid?"

"Yes, she is by her mother's, over at the warrior table," he smiled.

"Thanks," I rushed out and fasted walked, booping and weaving through people who apparently didn't know what the words, excuse me please move, meant.

Just as if she could hear me, she looked up and locked eyes with me and I nodded to her and she got up telling her mothers she'll be right back. She ever so slowly headed to me. Once she was close enough, I grabbed her hand and rushed to the garden that was behind the pack house, which is always so lovely.

"Hey sexy, what's up? You look like you have seen a ghost," she nervously laughed, trying to steady me as I was only pacing and making myself look like a crazed goon.

"Ingrid, I... I don't know if I should be pissed, sad, happy? I have no idea!" I whisper yelled, throwing my hands up.

"What are you even on about women? OoOo did your little twink of a boyfriend piss you off or something," she winked at me and giggled.

"No you fuck tard, I already got rid of him." I bluntly stated.

"No but seriously. I just found my mate." I whispered yelled and widening my eyes and looking around, hoping to the goddess that no one heard me.

"WHAT!" She screamed.

I covered her mouth so fast I almost tripped over my damn dress. "Women I swear to the goddess if you do not lower your voice!" I stared her down with a, I'll fucking kill you, look.

Looking around as if there were people back here., she started laughing and removing my hand from her mouth.

"Look, why are you even freaking out? You have been non stop talking about how you want to meet your mate. So why are you upset now, the moon goddess hand picked your mate for you and now you're acting like a what? A pissed off crazed wolfie?" She taunted me.
