Useful. One word, six letters. Something that summed you up as a whole person by every adult that had authority over you, instructing you things and labouring on your quirk factor and body.
Your personality and looks didn't matter. If you wouldn't fulfil their wishes and missions, you would be deemed as a useless kid, any what not of benefit to be fed or kept alive.
You were only a child, yet you survived through things that men's minds couldn't comprehend, you were only a child when the worst years of your life had already happened.
You were only a child no older than the normal kid of the neighbours, their child going to primary school and having developed a normal quirk. Instead, you were doomed from the moment you saw the first light of the world with your newborn eyes, heard the first sound of the world.
In a labour.
So, of course, your personality wouldn't be that bubbly or positive. It wasn't hopeful nor filled with empathy or even lively. People would glance and you and think that you were devoid of any human emotion, that you were a strange kid.
Feeling nothing and feeling everything were two worlds apart.
What the curse of your misery was?
Your existence.
Living beings with a purpose to their existence were cursed since the second they came out of the womb of their birth givers, stretching their little hands out for a glimpse of freedom and normal life, something they could never prolong in the meantime they served as a prisoner to their own existence.
Nevertheless, escaping wasn't something out of the possibilities of life.

It was interlinked.
Fate was interlinked, the red string being strung by the universe. Universes were interlinked, creating the multiverse and parallel lives of living beings, each life more twisted than the other as they all were doomed to drown and never come back to the surface.
Destiny was something written in everyone's heart and soul. No matter how much an individual might fight and resist against it, it will always come back to them
However, the whole universe was big enough for one case to slip through its hands.

Quick note: For tension and more romance AND the most of the angst, go to DIWK PART 3 in more than 20 chapters. pls comment or vote if you like the story or critisize it.
Or just endure the slow burn with action(+more angst and trauma). DIWK PART 1 WILL BE EDITED SOON Bcs I realized how bad my writing there is. Most of my spelling and grammar mistakes happen because I'm writing under stress.
IF YOU DON'T WANT TO READ THROUGH THIS CHAP THEN SKIP TO THE LAST PARAGRAPH!!! MY WRITING IS BETTER IN PART II OF THE STORY!!!
I lost count of the times I already updated this chapter but main update this time is the small info.
Note to myself: edited to the part of the USJ. Changed some senteces and words (I made up words).
The view from the HPSC was mesmerizing.
The rays of the bright moon shone down onto the city, engulfing the city in a blanket of comfort and safety, while the stars twinkled as bright as the moon, accompanying it, shining ever so beautifully like in a fairytale. The people walking past each other had a look of happiness plastered on their faces, the adults holding the hands of their kids while the children beamed at some petals of Sakura flowers falling down onto the street. Truly a scene from a fairytale. Except this world was far from a fairytale than it might seem, hiding its secrets beneath a blanket of miracle and several lies.
