in my life, heartache and joy collide, two feelings that both live inside. heartache, a storm that never seems to end, joy, a light that tries to mend.
heartache pulls me down, heavy and deep, a wound that stings, a pain i keep. it shadows my days and darkens my night, a constant weight that feels so tight.
but joy, oh joy, a hurrying spark, a warm embrace in the cold and dark. it lifts me up when the world feels grim, a beam of hope, a chance to change.
