12. Fight on the streets

Here's an update for you on the occasion of our Golden Maknae Jeon Jungkook's birthday 🥰

"These brats fought with some random people on the streets. They were brought to the police station by the patrolling officers. And they were not some normal people, they were dangerous goons!" Namjoon said while glaring at Jimin and Jungkook.

"WHAT!" Aecha yelled and checked Jimin and Jungkook for any injuries "Are you hurt anywhere?" "No, we are fine" Jimin said while stopping his mom. Namjoon scoffed "Yeah, very fine. Jungkook hurt his cheek and Jimin hurt his arm" he said angrily "I treated them back in the police station. Don't worry" he added as Aecha was looking worried.

"Sorry" Jungkook and Jimin said at a time. "Sorry, my foot. I really want to beat the hell out of both of you for being so irresponsible and careless. If the officers were late even by a minute, both of you would be in hospital by now. Didn't you see they were drunk and had weapons on them. Still, you dared to fight them? Is your life a joke to you? " he yelled and raised his hands. Both of them took a step back in fear.

"Okay, stop it Namjoon. You are scaring them" Yoongi said in order to save his brothers from Namjoon's wrath. His anger was justified as it was very dangerous for both of them but Yoongi didn't want them get scolded as both of them were looking very scared, mainly due to the encounter they had some time back.

"Will you tell is what actually happened?" Yoongi asked softly to them. Jimin nodded and started "Two hours back, we were returning from the library, then...

Two hours earlier:
Jimin and Jungkook went to their university library as the latter wanted Jimin's help in completing an assignment. So, they decided to do it there as there would be lot of resources available for them.

As they were returning, Jimin wasn't looking where he was walking as he was busy in searching something in the bag. Unintentionally, he bumped into person who was standing in the way laughing and chatting with his friends causing the both of them to fall down.

Jimin groaned in pain as his butt hurt from the sudden fall. Jungkook helped him get up and dust off the dirt from his clothes. "Are you okay?" he asked with concern. "Yes Jungkook" Jimin said while gritting his teeth in annoyance. The man who fell down while bumping into Jimin was looking got up with the help of his friends and punched Jimin in his ribs without any warning.

Jimin groaned in pain and was going to lose his balance but Jungkook helped him to stand. "Hyung, careful" he said and turned towards the men "Are you crazy, why the hell did you raise your hands on my brother. I am going to teach a lesson" he yelled at them and raised his hand with his palms fisted as a sign to punch them. The men laughed at him "Your just a little kid. You want to fight us?" one of them mocked him.

Jungkook got furious and threw a punch on his face "Look, I am not a little kid. Are you satisfied now? Did you get your lesson?" he yelled and turned towards Jimin "Hyung, let's go and get you treated. These mother f*ckers are just a waste of time" he muttered under his breath and both of them started to leave from there.

Listening to him, the men got angry and pulled Jungkook backwards forcefully making him fall down. "Ahhh, Jimin hyung" he yelled to as Jimin was walking ahead of him. Jimin turned back and got terrified as two of them were hovering upon Jungkook. "You b*stards" he yelled and pushed the men aside and went near Jungkook. "Are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere?" he asked being concerned for him.

Jungkook gritted his teeth in pain as his back was hurting a lot and spoke "I am fine". Jungkook widened his eyes as he saw man attacking Jimin with a knife from the backside. "Hyung! Careful" he yelled and rolled to the other side along with Jimin to dodge the attack but due to Jimin's bad luck, the knife struck his arm lightly. Jimin groaned in pain as the it started bleeding. Jungkook immediately took his hand kerchief from his pocket and wrapped around the wound to control the bleeding.
