3. Meeting

Hobi left the dining room only to find Jungkook and Taehyung hiding near the stairs trying to hear their conversation. Both of them saw Hobi coming towards them so they started admiring the stairs "Isn't it so beautiful Kook" Taehyung said Jungkook agreed with him "Indeed, so strong and such a pre- Ahhh!" Jungkook yelled in pain when Hobi pulled his ear and twisted it. "Admiring the stairs, hmm?" He said and pulled Taehyung's ears as well.

"Ahh! Hyung, leave my ears" both of them yelled at the same time and Hobi left them. "Stupid brothers" Hobi mumbled and left from there. He went to his room and locked the door but someone knocked the door at the same time. He quickly opened the door revealing Jin. Hobi moved aside and he came inside.

"Hyung, what are you doing here?" Hobi asked unable to figure out why Jin would be in his room at this time. "Nothing, I was curious. What did you and mom talk about" Jin asked while sitting on the bed. Hobi sighed and told him everything that happened in the dining room after everyone left. After hearing everything, Jin gave a sad look to him "Hobi, no one can replace appa, I hope you know that" he said. "Yes hyung, I was worried for nothing. Mom reassured me" Hobi said to him with a small smile.

"Good, let's give them a chance tomorrow, hmm. Who knows, may be life gave us another chance to get father's love. Don't think too much and sleep. Okay?" Jin said while patting his shoulder. Hoseok nodded with a smile and Jin left the room.

Next day:
Byeol went to her university being excited to say the news to her best friend Nayeon. Both of them know each and every thing about each other, everything. "Where is this stupid girl. She won't even check her phone" she mumbled to herself and walked through the hallways to find her. Finally she found Nayeon talking, correction 'flirting' with a boy in the hallway.

Byeol rolled her eyes seeing her best friend trying her chances with a guy like that. She went near Nayeon and put her hands on her shoulders. She dragged her away from there in the same way while yelling "She is mine, get away". The boy stared at them dumbfounded unable to process what just happened but shrugged and went away.

"Yahh, why do you do this all the time. The boy is so cute, I was trying to take him on a date" Nayeon spoke being annoyed with her behaviour. "You should thank me bestie, I saved you from that loser. He is a playboy and dates different girls every week. Don't even think of liking a guy like him. You deserve so much better" Byeol replied and patted her shoulder.

"Oh, thank you. That's why you are my bestie" Nayeon said and hugged her hand. Byeol laughed out but changed her expressions when she remembered "Yeah, Can you give me your phone?" She asked sweetly. "Here, take it" Nayeon handed it to her with a confused face but her face changed to a terrified one when she saw Byeol trying to smash the phone while throwing it on the floor.

"YAAHHH! Are you crazy. It's so expensive" Nayeon yelled and snatched her phone back. "Why? You don't even need it" Byeol replied unbothered. "Why are you speaking like this Byeol-ah" Nayeon replied nervously as she was sure that she did something wrong. "Check your phone" Byeol said angrily. Nayeon checked her phone and gave a nervous smile to her but stopped smiling when she saw Byeol's glare at her.

"I-I can explain, I swear I didn't check my phone. It was on silent, ahh!" She explained and yelled a little when Byeol smacked her arm. Nayeon rubbed her arm and asked "What's so urgent". "Appa decided to marry" Byeol said with a bright smile on her face. "ARE YOU SERIOUS. UNCLE DECIDED TO MARRY! OH MY GOD! You are not pranking me right!" Nayeon asked her seriously. "No bestie, I am meeting her today. She invited us to their home. I AM SO EXCITED" Byeol replied while squealing hard with Nayeon squealing along with her. The students passing by gave them weird looks but they were least bothered by it.

"Okay, you have so much to do. First, select a presentable dress, you don't want her to have a bad impression on you. Also, don't forget to buy a gift for her. Right! We will also prepare our famous chocolate chip cookies. I am sure everyone will like it" "Yess! After university, we will go shopping, then we will bake cookies. You can also meet appa and congratulate him" Byeol said excitedly and Nayeon agreed with her while nodding her head vigorously.
