Hoseok visibly gulped and said "They called and told that the brake wire was cut intentionally, it wasn't a accident"

Hearing him, everyone's faces in the room turned to horror.

"W-why would someone want to kill us?" Jin let out sadly in a small voice. "We didn't do any harm to anyone" he added.

"I don't know hyung" Hoseok whispered back in a sad voice. All of them turned towards Namjoon in anticipation that he might knew about it.

"I don't know what happened. I will definitely look into it, first thing in the tomorrow morning" Namjoon told them.

"Jin hyung? Do you find anything suspicious?" Namjoon questioned him. "Like what, Joon?" Jin asked in confusion. "Where did you go, the whole day? And were the brakes functioning properly yesterday?" Namjoon questioned him.

"It was perfectly fine yesterday. Even today, it was working fine. We went to hospital and while returning, they just stopped working, all of a sudden" Jin replied to him.

"Wait, it was working fine while going to hospital?" Namjoon questioned and Jin nodded his head. "So, someone must have messed with the wires when you were in hospital, during the check up of your wife" Namjoon replied.

"But, it's hospital, who would dare to mess with the car. There are cameras all over the place" Jimin piped up.

"Exactly! It's a hospital, a public place. Hundreds of people come there and no one would be suspected. Coming to the cameras, they could easily be hacked or there could be someone inside who might be helping them" Namjoon explained to them.

"Hyung, you work for the police department, right? So you can easily ask the hospital management for the CCTV footage, then we can find the culprit, right?" Jungkook asked him.

"It's not that easy Kook. It's not an official investigation, so I have no rights to ask them for the CCTV footage" Namjoon explained, sadly.

"You can threaten them using your gun, then they will give you the footage, just like how they show in the movies" Jungkook said with excitement.

Namjoon chuckled, "It's not practicable Kook, if the higher officials find out about that, I will be suspended. Everything shown in the movies is not true kid" he said and ruffled his hair.

"I see" Jungkook said with a pout as he didn't get any solution. "Eomma, can you do anything? You have so many big connections, right?" Hoseok asked while looking at his mom.

"I have big connections in business but not related to hospitals, still I will try my best to do something. Because this is a serious matter, someone tried to kill my son and daughter in law" she stated and caressed Jin's hair.

As they were talking, Jimin and Taehyung were bickering with each other about something.

"Are you mad, Tae? It's not possible. I am not doing that" Jimin whisper shouted. "Why not Jimin hyung? You can totally do that. No one will even find out" Tae argued back. "Shut up, I am not doing it" Jimin said firmly. "You don't want to find out which moron tried to hurt our family" Taehyung asked while showing a sad face. "Yah!! I want to know, but it's illegal" Jimin argued back.

Before Taehyung could argued back, Yoongi asked "What are you both arguing about?"

"Hyung, I am telling that Jimin hyung should ha-bdhnd" Jimin immediately closed Taehyung's mouth with his hand. "Nothing hyung, don't mind him. He is just crazy" he said and turned towards Taehyung. "Just shut your mouth, idiot" he whispered in Taehyung's ears and gave a light smack on his head.

Namjoon noticed that Jin was thinking something deeply, so he went towards him and spoke. "Jin hyung, don't think too much. I will find a way to know about them. Don't take stress to your brain, you are already hurt, please" Namjoon requested him.
