19. Jealousy's Clash

Akansha's PoV

I was in the balcony talking with Shreya. She was behaving very odd so I asked. "Hey..you're okay right? Did you have a fight with Eshaan?"

Shreya was a bit surprised by my question. "No..everything's fine..it's just I'm not really feeling well after bus ride.."

I then nod. Oh..so she is just having a jet lag..I then changed the topic as we both talked about other random stuffs.

The wind blows softly and hits our face as I closed my eyes and enjoyed the moment. Shreya was doing the same.

I then opened my eyes and turned a little and saw Eshaan. He was sleeping..wait! Am I seeing it right!?

The heck!! Eshaan was freaking crying! I could see tears slipping down his cheeks..did they really fight to that extent that made him cry!?

I feel so bad for him. I wish I could comfort him. I sighed a little as i looked up at the sky. The moon was shining bright as always.

"Hey! See there's a shooting star! Ask for a wish!" Shreya says as she joined her hand and closed her eyes.

I did the same. Please god fix whatever made Eshaan cry..I can't see him crying. I wished in my head and opened my eyes.

I then looked at Shreya who was already staring at me. I looked at her with confused expression. "What?"

"Nothing." She shook her head and looked up back to the moon. We talked for a while and then went to our beds and slept.

I lied down on my bed and took a glance at Eshaan. His tears were soaked on his cheeks. My heart ached seeing him like this.

I wish I could do something for him and make his problems disappear. But..anyways I then closed my eyes and tried to sleep.

Time skip to next morning.

We woke up as we took shower one by one and god! It was very cold in the morning then it was in the night.

I wore my thick purple hoddie and pants. I didn't care to style since it was cold as fuck! I bought some extra hot packs so I gave some to others also.

We were now in having our breakfast and the hot soup helped so much. I felt like I was in heaven.

After breakfast we were then called out in yard which was a very huge space. It was almost like a garden due to all plants and trees.

A man in his thirties came and started with his introduction. "So students! I'm Rakesh Khanna, and I will be your guide for this whole trip."

We all wished him good morning and then he spoke again. "So! Today we will start with our first jungle camp activity! But first let's start with exercise."

We all started to did  warm up exercises and then our activity started. Our first activity was to go with the guide around the jungle.

He will give us all the information about the plants, flowers and leaves and all the locations too.

Some trees were also marked with red circles which indicates the non safe zone means it's not safe to go beyond those trees.

I was with Shreya as we all looked around as the guide was explaining the place and atmosphere of here.

"And also..the main point..there are wild animals..so please don't cross the trees having red circles.." the guide said.

Shoot! There are wild animals too! We have to stay careful now but thank god they don't come out or near the hotel area.

After wandering around for hours the sun was going down and it started to get dark. The guide then takes us back to the hotel area.

After we reached the hotel and we rested in our rooms, had our dinner and then we sat near the camp fire.

Everyone went to their respective rooms since they were tired. And now here I was sitting with Josh as we talked.

I was still feeling cold as I rubbed my palms and nods when Josh was talking about the plants we saw.

He is really into plants and nature. I listen to him as he suddenly stopped in middle and I looked at him with confusion.

"Why did you stop?" I asked.

He smiled a little as he then holds both of my hands with his. His hands were huge and warm. He was freaking warming up my hands!!

Oh. My. God. Ok wait wasn't I supposed to blush? Or feel flustered. But I don't feel anything.

"What are you doing?" I said with an awkward smile.

"You were feeling cold so I'm warming you up!" He said with his usual charming smile as he continued to warm my hands.

I smiled as we both then again started to talk as he continues to warm my hands. I also noticed someone coming towards the camp fire.

And it was Eshaan. He stopped when he looked at us and then our hands. It looked like we were holding hands!

He looked so pissed right now. I wanted to get up and explain it him..but I had no right to explain anything to him. He was no one for me to explain.

I then looked back down at our hands since I didn't had courage to look at his face. It felt good when he was not here.

But now..holding josh's hands that too infront of him makes me feel like a bad person. I don't know why..but now my hands are feeling cold again.

Eshaan then rushed away from there...I sighed a little as I looked at Josh and he gave me a worried look. "You're okay right?" He asked.

I gave him a not so genuine smile and nod. He nods back and then we sat for a while  taking in the warmness of the camp fire.

But the fire in my heart is burning me from inside because I can't help fall for Eshaan more and more.
