29. A New Connection

Shreya's PoV

Since eshaan left from here we both started to talk about random stuffs.

"Hey Shreya." A familiar voice which I wish I could forget and one of my bad nightmares. Please don't be him! Please don't be him!

I froze at my spot not having the courage to turn and look behind. I looked at Josh and I'm sure he must have noticed the horror on my face.

"Who are you?" Josh asked as he raised his eyebrow in curiosity as he look behind me.

I let out a sharp breath and slowly turned and saw it was...ARYAN! God I wish I could just vanish from here!

I looked at Aryan who was now smirking and I felt like breaking his nose! "Well well well Ms Shreya finally got herself another boyfriend.."

Aryan said with a sarcastic tone with his damn smirk on his face. I was speechless cause I was shocked by him.

I hope he doesn't say all the embarrassing things I've done for him to accept me as his girlfriend.

As I was finding the finding the right words to say but then Josh spoke. "Yeah..I'm her boyfriend..any problem?"

He said as he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him with a swift motion as if I was light as feather.

I felled the whole flock of butterflies when he did so. I looked down a little as I was a blushing mess.

Aryan then scoffs as he eyes up and down to Josh. "Well may I know your name?" Aryan asked to Josh.

"I'm Josh park." Josh replied with his stern tone. Aryan then huffs a little at Josh's stern tone.

"So..now do you mind leaving..we are having some personal talk." Josh said as he was very annoyed by him.

"Do you even know her past? What she did to be my girlfriend—" oh no no please to say that!

I was scared at heck cause if Josh knew how desperately I tried to be with Aryan he will think I don't have any self respect.

And then he will start hating me and—

"I don't give a fuck about what she did in her past with you...what matters to me now is the present and she is the with me." Josh said

I again felt butterflies when he said that..god why does he have to be so good that he always makes me feel all sort of things that I've never felt.

Aryan rolls his eyes "Yeah yeah whatever." He then walks away as I let out a breath which i didn't knew was holding back.

I then looked at Josh who was already looking at me with worried eyes. "You're okay?" He said softly.

I nodded a little as he withdrew his hand from my waist and I felt a pang of disappointment. I wish he could hold me like this all the time.

I sighed a little as I took a sip of my drink to calm my nerves and hide the disappointment on my face.

"Who was he?" Josh asked as I calmed down. I was hesitant at first but then I felt like saying it to him.

He almost knows all of my problems so..I sighed. "He is my ex..and I..I liked him at first and after trying to be with him for so long he finally accepted me cause he was bored."

"And when I saw him in the collage kissing someone else infront of me and ignored me as if I was no one to him..but then akansha told me to stay away from him. It was hard but I did." I said as I sighed and looked at him.

I'm sure he must be thinking how dumb I am or atleast give me a sarcastic reply on my dumbness.

But he just holds my hand and looks at me with a small smile. I was taken aback as I looked at him with surprise.

"It's okay..everyone has their own past...no need to feel embarrassed..I know you must be thinking that might be laughing at you..but don't worry..I understand what you've must be went through." Josh said with a smile.

My heart goes crazy again as my cheeks turns red. I smiled back and nod. After talking for a while I then excused myself for restroom.

I got up and went to the restroom. After doing my business and then fixing my hair and makeup I exited the restroom.

After sometime of walking I finally came to the main door and entered inside as I walked in near the couch where we were sitting earlier.

I saw Josh was not there. I then looked around as I sat on the couch..looks like he also must have gone to washroom.

I sat there and waited for a while as I looked at my phone. As I was busy I suddenly heard some giggles.

I got curious and looked where the voice was coming from. When I finally saw who it was. My blood started to boil.
