35. Away From Eachother

Shreya's PoV

"Are you freaking kidding me!!?" Akansha yelled at the other end of the call. While I was in the car with Josh.

I sighed since I wanted to tell akansha before leaving but we couldn't meet unfortunately cause my flight was early in the morning.

"Yeah sorry.." I said as I looked down fidgeting with my fingers.

"But why did they call you out of nowhere?" She asked.

"Even I don't know that..they just booked my flight and messaged me come." I said and I'm damn sure akansha is fuming with frustration.

"You should have told me yesterday." Akansha said.

"My dad messaged me at 12:30..and you were also gone so I didn't want to disturb you." I replied.

"You know you can text or call me anytime..you will never ever disturb me even if it's the dumbest thing ever." She said in a soft tone.

God I swear if she was a guy I would have married her! I love her so much! I smiled as I said.

"Yeah I know but..it won't change the fact that I have to go." I said as I was very sad leaving her and especially Josh.

I took a glance at him and by looking at his face it looked like his hasn't slept all night. His eyes are heavy lidded.

I talked to akansha for more minutes and then after a silent moment I looked at Josh. "Ah..don't date anyone while I'm gone."

I said which made Josh chuckled a little. Ok good now that he has smiled. "I'm serious." I said.

He then takes my hand and his and looks at me with a smile and nods. "Don't worry darling I won't date anyone while you're gone."

I blushed hard when he called me "darling" the way he said that. Oh god! "A-aren't you getting too overboard!"

I shuttered since I was so flustered which made him laugh. I scoffed and pouted. "Don't laugh at me."

"Aww is my darling being grumpy?" He said in a teasing way as he cups my cheeks. "I promise I won't date anyone..don't worry I'm all yours now."

He said as I smiled and nod. "But that applies for you too. You're also not allowed to date or even stare at other guys..got it?" He said in a little possessive tone.

"Woah Mr. Joshy Josh never expected I'll see your possessive side." I said with a cheeky smile.

He smirked as he pinched my cheek. "There's so much yet for you to see darling..this is just a trailer."

When he said that I don't know but I suddenly felt butterflies in my tummy. God this guy has me wrapped around his fingers.

After few hours of our light hearted talks. The heavy part finally comes as we reached the air port.

We got out as Josh went to the back getting out my bag. We then entered inside the air port. My heart thumping and aching to go.

When we finally came near the check in area. We stopped and he handed me my bag. "Take care." He said as he gave me a sad smile.

I smiled back trying to held back my tears. As I was about to turn and leave I then stopped and ran to him and hugged him tightly.

He sighed a little and hugs me back and caresses my back. "It's ok..it's ok." He said trying to calm me down.

I then looked up at him as he wipes my tears with his thumb and caresses my cheek as he kisses my forehead.

"I love you." I said since I just can't hold back anymore and finally show my true feelings to him.

He smiled. "I love you too." I smiled back and then the announcement for the flight ruins our conversation.

I signed as I pulled back from the hug. He waved at me. "Take care and don't cry too much..you'll look ugly." He tried to joke but I know how bad he is crying inside rn.

I chuckled and nod. I then turned and went inside to check in. I one last time took a glance at him as he smiled at me.

I smiled back and with a heavy heart I checked in and entered inside the airport. After boarding in I entered my flight.

I sat on my seat, I'm already missing Josh so much. I sighed and closed my eyes trying to sleep.

I want to forget the heavy feeling in my heart. I hope my parents are not up to something stupid which ruins my life more.

I know what they're actually planning but I'm not sure if that's what they're thinking.

Please Please I hope they're not thinking what I'm thinking about.
