Jay and her own way
It's harder to put it into practice and really change
Jay was always discredited by her mom and family
She was raised to serve, to obey and to say amen
If she thought or acted differently from her mommy or sister
Jay was immediately ridiculed and put down
The girl got very tired and almost gave up on dreaming
When she got here at "Ten" she was still very depressed
Little by little she is getting to know and respect herself
Jay is learning to have no remorse about being her own way
