Her feet stumbled when she first hopped off his motorbike, groaning when the burning feeling on her calf reminded her of how she placed her leg a little bit too close to the exhaust pipe. Jungkook just chuckled while taking off his helmet, looking at her pissed off expression while she checked on herself while raising a bit her leg, rolling up her baggy jeans to see her skin.
—I told you to open your legs —he reminded her.
—I thought you were being a pig —she replied back, pouting at the end of the sentence while leaving her pants alone.
—It's just a little burn, it'll be alright —he walked towards her, unclasping the chin strap of her helmet—. Besides, it'll get better when you put some aloe cream on it. And it'll feel even better if I'm the one putting it on with a little massage —he smirked when their eyes met for the first time, feeling encouraged by the funny smile on her face—. Or I could kiss it better, and then I could kiss something else.
—Really?
Her hopeful eyes looked the biggest he had ever seen them while she took the helmet off, biting her lip before her expression suddenly changed back to the mocking one he was used to, working well with her hands, pushing the helmet to his stomach roughly.
A thick moan got stuck in his throat, still smirking besides being bent forwards, with the top of his head barely touching her stomach and her breasts ghosting over the back.
—Let's get things done. I have things to do.
She agreed on giving him what he wanted, risking her peaceful weekend, just in exchange for him to take her to the place that bag belonged to. And the only way to get it was following him to the Loop, standing in front of a white high-rise building that gave her neck pain just by attempting to look at the top.
—I didn't know you knew people here —she commented, looking back at him.
—I have good contacts —he scoffed, walking towards her.
—Why don't you tell those contacts to take you in?
—3A, you'd miss me. I can't do that to you.
Her eyes rolled with that sentence, waiting for him to walk ahead of her to let the smile slowly form for a short moment before her lips turned back into a straight line.
All the way from the entrance to the elevator, and from the elevator to the twentieth floor was nothing but an exchange of looks between them, with Jungkook shaking his head with a smile while looking away. She had no obligation to be there, and he was sure Y/n knew he'd have gone with her wherever she wanted without her having to ask twice.
There was no way she couldn't know by how he acted with only her.
—Are you going to reveal these two months were a test and you're actually a rich entrepreneur? —she joked, following him outside the lift— Oh, you're actually married and you got kicked out for being a pain in the ass and you're expecting me to convince her to take you back? That's why you were so insufferable.
—Shit. Remind me how twisted you are when we get out of here —Jungkook turned to her, dedicating a quick glance at her before turning back to the door.
He breathed in deeply, letting out all the air in his lungs while forcing himself to lift his fist and knock the door after almost two years.
Carly's smile dropped when she recognized those big eyes and the mullet haircut, and that same good boy smile that had no business in his face. Before he could speak, she slammed the door on his face, rubbing her face in the palm of her hands as if that would wake her up from the nightmare of having Jungkook back at her door after so long.
