Following her meeting with Professor Weasley about completing extra assignments to help her catch up on her studies, (y/n) all but raced into the castle to meet with Sebastian.

The girl had practically skimmed over her assignment with Professor Ronen, anxious to see the boy who'd been occupying her mind since her first lesson at Hogwarts. He was devilishly charming, by the sounds of things. It could either have been dangerous or exciting, and (y/n) was eager to find out which.

On her way through the castle, she spared a moment to admire the fascinating stonework that the building was decorated in. Her eyes wide with wonder as she felt a surge of curiosity, but she'd have to explore that later.

Sebastian was waiting for (y/n) by the exit, humming to himself as he stood alone. The new student suddenly came into view and she gave him a genuine smile which he received warmly and reciprocated.

"Hello, Sebastian." she greeted politely.

"Ah! My new 'charge'." the boy smirked, "I'm told you're in dire need of supplies and I'm to accompany you into Hogsmeade for them. Is this your first foray into the village?"

"It is. I haven't left the castle since I arrived."

"Well, I shall endeavour to be the very best of guides then." Sebastian told her, and she trusted him.

The pair left the castle and began the journey to Hogsmeade. Luckily, the weather was rather pleasant. It was early September, practically still summer time. The sun was warm as it slowly began to set in the late afternoon, and the castle grounds looked absolutely beautiful with all the bushes and shrubs still healthy and green.

"I was glad Professor Weasley asked me to join you today." Sebastian remarked as they began their walk, exiting the castle gates.

"As am I. Thank you, by the way." (y/n) replied, her cheeks growing warm at the memory that it was actually her who requested him to accompany her.

"Of course! You're the only one who's ever bested me in a duel. The way I see it, I'd be wise to keep an eye on you." the boy said, and (y/n) wondered if he always had a flirtatious tone to his voice or if it was wishful thinking.

"Speaking of Weasley, she seems to have taken quite a shine to you." he added.

"Has she? That's nice to hear." (y/n) smiled.

"I'm still surprised that a professor would entrust me with anything, given my detention record." Sebastian commented.

"Spend a lot of time in detention, do you?" the girl chuckled.

"Just enough to keep me well-rounded." Sebastian quipped.

Oh, they'd be good friends.

"Speaking of detention, this trip to Hogsmeade might have saved me from one." he told his companion.
