Hiyori stood on the sandy beach, her white and blue swimsuit perfectly complementing her slender figure. As she took in the scene around her, the soft sound of waves crashing against the shore and the laughter of her classmates echoed in her ears.

*This place... looks okay,* Hiyori thought, her expression thoughtful as she observed her surroundings. *I wonder how everyone is taking this whole “being in another world” thing so easily.*

Despite the serene setting, Hiyori’s thoughts drifted back to the reality they’d all been pulled from. *It’s kind of cool, but at the same time, I want to be back at our school before the summer vacation ends. Going to another world is common in the books I’ve read, but experiencing it myself is totally different.*

As Hiyori walked along the shoreline, her swimsuit drew the attention of several male classmates, who weren’t used to seeing her in such a revealing outfit.

“Look at her... isn’t she incredibly beautiful?” whispered one of the boys from Class 1-B.

“She’s... kind of sexy,” another boy from Class 1-B agreed, his eyes wide.

“Hey, she’s in our class, so it’s obvious she would date someone close to her!” a Class 1-C boy chimed in.

“I’m way closer to her than you! I say good morning to her almost every day!” another Class 1-C boy retorted.

“It seems like she’s not with anyone...” one of the Class 1-B boys observed.

Hiyori, aware of their stares, chose to ignore them, instead focusing on the sight of Ichinose and the other girls swimming in the sea. *It seems like most people who came to the beach are expecting to get a date... or maybe this is how it’s supposed to work out in another world?*

Hiyori glanced down at herself, her thoughts turning inward. *Is it because... my body is the most developed in Class C?*

*Now that I think about it... yeah, I do remember their stares in class whenever Ryuen isn’t controlling them with fear...*

*No... it’s impossible for me to focus on reading if I’m being stared at so intensely,* she concluded, deciding to find a quieter spot.

As she walked up to a nearly empty drink stand, Hiyori’s thoughts continued to race. *The language of this world is different, but for some reason, we can talk and understand them just fine. Is that some kind of effect from being swallowed by the giant rainbow frogs?*

“An amazing lady with a nice back view, are you alone?” came a voice from behind her.

Hiyori turned, surprised to see Sudo standing there, a confident smirk on his face.

“...”

“I can just tell by looking at your back... you’re... ~beautiful!~” Sudo said, clearly trying to be charming. “If you would like, you can come by to swim with me—”

He paused, recognizing her. “Wait—huh?”

“You’re... Sudo-kun, right?” Hiyori asked, tilting her head slightly.

“Hiyori?!”

*I have a perfect memory for faces... but his is one I often forget,* Hiyori thought to herself.

“What are you doing here?” Sudo asked, his tone a mix of surprise and curiosity.

“I was looking for a quiet place to read a novel that I’m interested in,” Hiyori replied calmly.

“Damn it... I ended up hitting on someone I know...” Sudo muttered, feeling a bit embarrassed.

*He’s great at basketball and super athletic,* Hiyori recalled, observing him.
