If you'd once asked twenty-one year old Sadie Reed where she saw herself in the future, she'd be sure of exactly three things: a house in rural Arkansas, the rodeo cowboy she'd met when they were both just teenagers working to make some extra cash, and a passion for chasing after some of nature's greatest mysteries.
When an accident strikes too close to home, ripping Sadie from the life she'd always dreamed of, she forged a path on the safe route, instead using weather apps for their intended purpose of escaping a storm rather than diving in headfirst. The solitary life was a lonely one, but one she'd made peace with as the days of chasing were long behind her.
However, when a once in a generational tornado outbreak in Oklahoma leads a familiar face back to Sadie's door, along with the news of an old foe profiting off of those losing everything they hold most dear, Sadie and Tyler must unite under a common enemy to help those in danger, and hopefully avoid getting swept away in the process.
