Legoshi watched as Tim the human walked away from Tem's memorial. Turning the corner, Legoshi stared at the red bean bun that had been placed in front of Tem's picture as he thought about what Tim had said. Had that time in the drama club been the first time that Tim made a sale?

Legoshi remembered watching from his perch near the spotlights as the strange student burst through the door and loudly announced himself. He had seemed absolutely confident in his own abilities, which was why Legoshi was shocked to learn that it had been Tim's first sale. After a few seconds, the gray wolf remembered that he still had drama club to attend. He quickly paid his respects to Tem before turning and leaving. Louis would probably yell at him again if he was late.

The next Monday, the wood body of the cart was done and just needed a quick finish, after which all that needed to be done was to install the stove. It was a blessing for me that the Woodshop classroom was on the first floor, because the cart probably couldn't be transported through the cramped stairwells of the school. Even then, the hallways were a right for for the cart, and I had to be careful not to run over any of the smaller students.

The water barrel had already been attached to the cart, but I still had Obi follow me to help with installing the stove and propane tanks. Pulling the cart was tiring business, and I was glad I'd decided to ask for Obi's help for installing the stove, because I wasn't sure that I'd be able to lift it after pushing the cart. I knew that it would get easier with time, but at the moment, I still needed someone else to help with the heavy lifting.

Add on the fact that I still had to get to my shift, and I was definitely going to be late if I had to do everything by myself. Thinking about my shift, I was reminded that it would be Inky's first shift as a cook that night. That, or he would have failed the test, but I was pretty sure he had passed. Either way, I was looking forward to seeing who Peter had hired as the new waiter.

Not only was I interested in seeing who Peter found, but I was also expecting that I would receive enough money that shift to get the grill I wanted along with some coal. Carrying if would be difficult, but at the end of the day, it was just another obstacle I'd have to overcome. Peter had told me about the delivery services the store offered, but even then, I decided that I wanted to carry it back to avoid any potential questions from the delivery of a grill through the school gates.

Once the stove and oven were installed, I parted with Obi and admired the cart in front of me. It was six feet long, three feet wide, and made of solid oak wood. On the side were the words, "Made by Genshi Atari, Obi Han, and Tim Johnson". They were carved and painted in a curve around the Cherryton academy emblem, which itself was painted green compared to the black of the words.

"I should probably inform you that curfew is coming into effect soon," said a voice from behind me. "You've been starting at that for ten minutes by now, you know?"

I turned around and saw a light brown female wolf behind me, her hands politely clasped in front of her. "Thanks for telling me," I said. "I was just thinking about how it was really worth the effort to build this. Took an entire week, but now, it's finally done."

"You built that yourself?" the wolf girl asked. "Really?"

"I was assisted by the other two people who's names were on the cart," I replied. "Genshi and Obi. They're really nice guys. Anyways, I should get going if it's almost curfew. It's been nice talking to you." Saying that, I walked away, trying to go as fast as I could without seeming rude. If it was almost curfew, it was also almost time to go to work, and it was best not to be late.

"Same here," the wolf girl called out behind me. "Have a good evening, uhh... Tim!"

So far, I had been having a good evening, but I wouldn't if I was late to work. I quickened my pace, cursing myself for leaving my backpack in my room.
