AN: This chapter is Juno's pov all the way through. You have been warned.

"It's an emergency, I'm probably not going to be back until tomorrow."

Those were the last words Juno heard before Tim grabbed his bag and ran, and Juno would be lying to herself off she said she wasn't worried. As a wolf, she could easily smell the panic emanating off of Tim. He had been afraid, that was for sure, but of what Juno didn't know.

After a minute of blankly starting at the script in her have, Juno rushed out of the library to follow Tim, but he had already disappeared by the time Juno got out of the library. When she was about to turn back, however, she picked up on Tim's panicked scent. Quickly, she followed it as closely as she could, losing it and refinding it several times. Eventually, Juno knew that Tim was truly gone when she nearly ran into the brick wall that surrounded Cherryton Academy. Tim had gone off of school grounds.

Growing in frustration, Juno turned to go back to the library. Her fear soon turned back to worry, however, when she returned to the thought that Tim had gone off of school grounds. Combine that with the fear on Tim, and Juno knew that Tim truly had to go.

Fueled by nervous anxiety, Juno hurried back to the library to collect her belongings and the play. She knew that she wouldn't be able to sleep that night.

Juno looked out the window for what felt like the thousandth time. It was irrational, she knew, but sleep continuously escaped her. Juno's dorm was a couple stories above the ground, and the window provided a good view of the rest of the academy. As Juno idly observed the calming effect the moon had on her, she noticed a small figure moving across the grass.

Quickly, she dressed herself and quietly exited her dorm. The stairs took her an agonizingly long time to get down, and the figure had gotten halfway to the carnivore male dorms by the time Juno had reached the ground floor. "Is that you Tim?" Juno called out as she left her dorm tower.

"Juno?" Tim called back, stopping where he was. "What are you doing out here?"

Juno ran over to Tim, stopping when she smelled the dried blood on his hair. "Where did you go?" she asked. "You're hurt!"

"Shit," Tim muttered under his breath, reaching up to touch the side of his head. "Don't worry about it. It's nothing."

"It's clearly not nothing," Juno argued. "Look, you're hurt. We have to get you to the infirmary!"

Tim winced. "Please, I'm fine," he muttered. "We can talk about this later, can't we? It's been a long night, and I still have to buy ingredients for the first showing tomorrow–actually, today."

Juno sighed. "Fine, we can talk about it on your shopping trip. We can also talk about what you put in your script."

Tim smiled gratefully at her, then continued walking. "I'll be here in about three hours," he said. "Just got to clean up and take a nap."

After Tim left, Juno opened her phone to check what time it was. "Are the stores even open at five in the morning?" she asked herself. Setting an alarm for the time, Juno yawned and walked back to her dorm. At least it was a Saturday.

Juno struggled to keep her eyes open as she walked with Tim. He wasn't energetic, per se, but he was certainly more functional than her. His posture was even straighter than Juno's, and he certainly wasn't walking with half-closed eyes.

"You only got at most three hours of sleep," Juno said. "How are you this awake?"

"Used to it, I guess," Tim answered as he stretched lazily. "Caffeine and power naps are more than enough now."
