Dragons and Oni

Now, perhaps I should destroy the Bounty. Pfft. I casually did a fake out, or maybe it isn't. Hehe.

Anyway, I noticed I haven't updated this one in a few days so here.

The whole Monastery was up and arms. Even Wu joined as everyone's mechs pinpointed Zane. Lloyd hopped on his bike. Cole meanwhile eyed his driller with bright purple eyes. 

“COLE!” Cole shakes the image of Oni on the driller, and follows Jay. Jay pushed his own wings down as he got into a glider. 

“Wait, do I even need a glider?” He says aloud and Cole hops into his driller. 

“Can't me and Lloyd fly?”

“You just grew them!” Kai shouts as the tunnel opens and everyone's mechs launch out. Cole drove; Jay reluctantly flew his golden weapon jet, grumbling under his breath about how uncomfortable his wings felt. Lloyd was smiling as he drove on his bike again, Kai just drove beside Cole in the golden sword mech, Nya also rode on a motorcycle, with Wu in her passenger seat, and Pixel kept everyone on the right path to Zane. 

Cole looks out from his driller, and groans as his back now hurts. 

“That better not be fucking wings, I don't want to go through that.” He whispers to himself as he then settles to watch Jay flying in the air. The glider did a lot of flips in the dark. Cole leans into his com. 

“Making up for the wings?” He smirks. 

“I'm just testing my glider!” 

“You have driven that thing before, why do you need to test it?” Kai speaks. 

“I haven't used my nunchucks for a glider in years, Kai!” 

“Same for my sword, what's your problem?” Cole could practically hear Jay groaning. 

“You want to fly?” Lloyd speaks up, as Cole comes to the conclusion that Lloyd and Nya likely disabled coms. 

“We have wings, I thought I could just jump off and do it!” 

“Sorry pal, but that's not how physics works.” Kai laughs at Jay's suffering. 

“My comics have lied to me… .well, they were right about robots, aliens, snake people-”

“Jay!” 

“Alright, but Cole, how are the horns?” Cole feels the pain radiating from his head come back. 

“Did you have to FUCKING REMIND ME!” 

“I.. .I was just talking.” Jay's voice lowers and Cole breathes out as his shadow-like hands shake. He then looks forward, his headache coming back as his vision blurred again.

*CRASH* 

Lloyd looked back in his mirror and halted his bike. 

“Cole!” Jay's glider gets lower immediately and turns back to his weapon. Kai and Nya stop.

“Lloyd, you and the others go.” Wu steps from the bike and eyes the crashed driller. He sees purple and steadily steps back. 

“But what about Cole?” Jay asks as Nya comes up to her Yin. 

“I will tend to him, and join if needed. Pixel, can you come and please aid in making sure Cole is ok?”
