Taehyung was at the club with his boyfriends when he noticed someone familiar there. He stares at the figure a minute too long and then his eyes widen when he recognizes the person who is now dancing with another guy sensually

Taehyung felt upset. He immediately calls Jungkook, his best friend

"Where is Jimin?"

Jungkook is surprised at Taehyung's tone

"He is at his place. He has a lot of work to do. Why?"

"Are you sure?"

"Pretty sure" Jungkook says confidently

"Then why do I see him dancing and kissing someone at the club?"

Jungkook doesn't believe this

"Stop pranking Tae! Not a believable joke" Jungkook teases

"You don't believe me? Then wait. Let me call you on video"

Taehyung approaches the boy on the dance floor, Jungkook is currently on video call with Taehyung

"Excuse me?"

"Yes?" The boy turns around and that makes Jungkook shocked

"What are you doing here?" Taehyung asks, his voice a bit cold

The boy frowns and his date frowns too "You know him, Jimin?"

"No..." the boy, Jimin denies knowing Taehyung

Taehyung saw how upset Jungkook looked and so he apologizes to Jimin and his date and leaves

"Sorry for the misunderstanding"

Jungkook was heart broken. The man called the boy Jimin. Jimin failed to acknowledge Taehyung who is Jungkook's best friend. Jungkook broke down, crying his eyes out as a started drinking to drown his pain

Jungkook then calls Jimin after a good cry. Jimin sounded like he was sleeping.

"Hmm baby..." Jimin hums

Jungkook's voice is cold. "Where did you go today?"

"No where...you know I was busy with work.." Jimin yawns

"You liar! Cheater!" Jungkook's words are slurred "...why did you do this? Don't you love me anymore?" Jungkook sniffles and Jimin is wide awake now

"J-Jungkook... what?" Jimin is so confused

"Stop! I don't wanna hear anything! I will end up forgiving you and I don't want to forgive you right now! Let's break up!" And with that Jungkook cuts the call and blocks Jimin's number

Jimin sat shocked staring at the phone for a moment trying to comprehend what just happened. He then starts calling Jungkook back but it doesn't go through. He starts crying, feeling so lost and hopeless.

Jihyun his brother calls him, like he usually does to check up on his brother. Jihyun is shocked to hear Jimin crying and soon Jimin tells his brother what happened.

Jimin had cried himself to sleep. Jihyun had come to check up on him. Jihyun then goes to Jungkook's apartment, the next day, after seeing the address on Jimin's food delivery app.

Jihyun is surprised when Taehyung opens the door. Jungkook was sitting on the couch, his head in his hands

"Oh you are the guy from yesterday right?"

Taehyung looks at Jihyun in confusion while Jungkook snaps his head in the direction of the voice, his eyes red but he too is confused. Something about the boy at his door seems off

Why is Jimin acting like he doesn't know them?

"Who are you?" Taehyung dares to ask

"Oh I'm Jihyun, Jimin's younger brother by a minute"

"What?!"

It then clicks them that who Taehyung saw was Jihyun and not Jimin

Jungkook immediately rushes over to Jimin's apartment

Actually Jihyun used Jimin's degree certificate to get a job - Jihyun was equally qualified but Jimin always got a better score. Jihyun wanted to meet the cut off criteria for the job application and hence he used Jimin's credentials without Jimin knowing. Needless to say, everyone at work thought Jihyun's name was Jimin. And Jihyun went along with it. He was in too deep with his lie. His boss and current lover also didn't know.

Jihyun feels bad that because of him there was a misunderstanding between his brother and his lover and feels guilty for using Jimin's credentials like this.

Jihyun confesses to his boss the truth and fortunately his boss was understanding, maybe because his boss was already deeply in love with him. Jihyun's work never faltered so the boss doesn't really have anything to complain about

Jimin opens the door half heartedly but is immediately pulled into a tight hug from his taller boyfriend

They have a good cry as Jungkook apologizes about the misunderstanding

Jimin then calls Jihyun who apologizes to him and Jimin forgives him

"Why didn't you just talk to me?" Jimin pouts ".... it hurts you know... being accused like that and then being shut off completely" Jimin complains

Jungkook is drowning in guilt "I know and I'm so sorry. Please forgive me. I should have trusted you more. I'm really sorry"

Jungkook sobbed holding Jimin's hands, afraid the boy will leave him for good

Jimin smiles slightly as Jungkook's grip gets tighter on his hands "I love you Jungkook... of course I will give you a chance... if you promise me that no matter what, you will first talk to me before deciding anything about our relationship..."

"I promise... I promise...thank you... I love you too" Jungkook says hugging the boy, pulling him onto his lap "...only you can drive me this crazy Jimin... I love you"

"I love you more.." Jimin says leaning in to kiss his boyfriend
