[10] HUSBAND'S EX CRUSH? - SEP 7 2024

Jungkook smiles sipping the coffee Jimin made him, thinking about their conversation on the night after their wedding, as he watched his tiny husband clean the kitchen counters, not allowing Jungkook to help after asking the man to rest. Jungkook had a tennis elbow injury which he was recovering from.

Theirs was an arranged marriage. Jimin wasn't interested in the marriage but was emotionally blackmailed into it by his parents. Jungkook liked the boy since the first meet.

Jungkook wanted to make love to his husband on the first night itself, Jimin looked really too beautiful but the boy's innocent eyes looking up at him, made Jungkook think twice. He resorted to knowing his husband and making the boy fall in love with him slowly.

That night Jungkook got to know that Jimin had been in love with his senior in college but had been rejected and humiliated badly by him in front of many. That made Jungkook's heart ache, watching the boy be vulnerable in front of him. Jimin reassures him that he doesn't love that man anymore.

"....but do you think of the what ifs? What if he accepted you and now married you?"

Jimin smiled "I have... but not after I met you..."

Jungkook smiles but his smile slowly disappears when Jimin confesses again

"Please don't hate me... but his rejection in front of many had left a huge scar in my heart... not allowing me to trust people easily and him saying I was not worth anyone's love has left me second guessing whenever anyone said they loved me... what I am saying is... please give me some time to accept this marriage... to accept us... I promise I won't disappoint you..."

Jungkook smiles as he wipes the tears that dropped down the boy's cheeks

"I will gladly wait forever for you Jimin... always...you are definitely worth the wait...don't let whatever a fool says affect what life has in store for you.. and I promise to make you fall for me just as much as I have fallen for you... I love you..." Jungkook promises as he kisses the boy's forehead

"Thank you..."

And that was how their first night went, cuddled and safe in each other's arms

It's been 4 months since that night and the two are happy together, slowly getting to know each other. Jungkook a bit more daring to kiss the boy whenever he could, especially loving the way Jimin blushes at that.

Then one day Jungkook catches Jimin, in his office, hugging an older man and crying. Jungkook had taken time off to go to his husband's office as a surprise. The older man kissed Jimin's forehead and the two cried hugging each other. The man and Jimin were in the cafeteria area.

Jungkook left, knowing Jimin would tell him what this was about. He didn't want to jump into any conclusions. He trusted his husband.

Jungkook was quieter than usual that day when Jimin gets home. Jimin was tired and so he just freshened up and went to sleep without talking to Jungkook about their day like they usually would. Jimin just said he was tired and wished Jungkook a good night. Jungkook was hurt but let it be.

Jimin seemed busier than usual since that day. Jungkook knew Jimin had a work commitment that the boy had to complete before Jimin's dad's birthday party that weekend but Jimin was out for longer than usual.

Four days went by like that and then Jungkook catches Jimin being dropped off home by that man - he kissed Jimin's forehead one last time and a hug before driving away. Jungkook couldn't take it anymore, he needed to know the truth

Did Jimin's senior come back?

"Oh Jungkook...You came? I just came home too..." Jimin smiles when Jungkook walks into their unit.

Jungkook is silent as he watches the boy bring him a glass of water

"What's wrong?" Jimin asks confused when he sees Jungkook's eyes glistening slightly

"Did you meet your senior, your ex crush, recently?"

Jimin looked confused

"What?"

Jungkook takes a deep breath

"Was it your senior who dropped you home today?"

"That's...." Jimin's eyes soften in understanding, knowing what was in Jungkook's mind "...that's not my senior...he is my elder brother Jihyun..."

"Jihyun hyung?"

Jimin nods

Jihyun is 10 years older to Jimin. He wanted to start his own business but their dad didn't agree to fund him. Jihyun left the house after taking his inheritance money. Their parents were very disappointed in Jihyun and that excuse was always used to blackmail Jimin into obedience and thats how Jimin agreed to the marriage. Jihyun was back now after establishing himself in the business world and he had met Jimin first that day Jungkook saw them. Jimin had been busy with his work, meeting Jihyun and preparing for his dad's party. Jimin didn't tell Jungkook about it because he didn't want anyone to know about Jihyun being his dad's gift yet. Jimin didn't know that hiding this fact would cause a misunderstanding

Jimin's eyes tear up as he explained and Jungkook let a sigh of relief at that

And that makes Jimin finally cry out

"Why? Why are you crying baby?"

"I'm sorry... I'm so sorry... I didn't know you knew about him for a while now... I'm sorry you had to go through this uncertainty alone... I'm sorry I didn't explain things earlier... I'm sorry you had to go through the pain of the misunderstanding..."

Jungkook chuckles slightly as he wipes Jimin's tears and kisses his forehead

"I love you... please stop crying... it's okay... I should have just manned up and asked you about it... but I just... I didn't get a chance to..."

Jimin cries again "I know... and its all my fault... I should have just told you everything..."

"Its okay" Jungkook reassures him

"No it's not... it's not okay.. you went through these days thinking maybe that guy was my ex crush...you went through that pain of thinking maybe I wanted him again... all because I never confessed my true feelings to you..."

Jungkook's heart hearts fast

"What?"

"I love you Jungkook. I truly do. And I wish I told you that sooner..."

Jungkook's grin widens "Finally you admit that you couldn't escape my charms?"

Jimin nods

"I love you more... so much more..." Jungkook says wiping Jimin's tears again

"I love you Jungkook...and I want to show you that I do..." Jimin blushes looking down

Jungkook bites his lips at that. He understood what Jimin meant

"Really? You want to?"

Jimin's cheeks are red now "I do... I'm just too embarrassed to initiate it.."

Jungkook chuckles "Well aren't you lucky your husband isn't embarrassed at all?" Jungkook says lifting Jimin up into his arms

Jimin hides his face into Jungkook's chest nodding his head slightly

"I love you Jimin..." Jungkook says placing Jimin gently on their bed

"I love you too Jungkook..." Jimin says slowly hooking his arms around the man's neck, pulling the man into a passionate kiss
