Chapter 10 - The Question

Niall still holding me tight, let go for a moment. "I know something that will make everything alot better!" He grasped my hand and took me to his room. He had a gift bag & roses. I covered my mouth, hiding my huge smile. "For you m'lady." He grinned handing me the gifts. I read the card first & smiled. Then I opened the gift bag, I pulled out a box that was wrapped in cute paper. I unwrapped it to see the camera that I've always wanted. My mouth opened in disbelief. I knew how much it costed and I can't believe he got this for me. I didn't speak a word. I went straight over to him and hugged him tightly. I could stay in his arms forever.

Nialls POV

I can't tell she loves her gift! I'm so happy I got it for her! I could hold her in my arms forever. We must've hugged for like 5 minutes or maybe the fact that I love her made it feel longer. She let go and opened the box that held the camera. She put the batteries in it and turned it on then off. "Oh I completely forgot! You wanted to talk to me!" She spoke. Nows my number 1 chance to ask her.

"Well.." I took her hand. And her cheeks turned a rosy red. She was adorable. "I've been waiting a long time to ask you this but..." I paused for suspense, her eyes widened. "Will you be my girlfriend?" I asked with a nervous smile.

Her eyes grew big and so did her smile! This is a great sign.

Katrina's POV

"YES!! Of course!" I hugged him for the 3rd time! I kissed him on the cheek. I couldn't stop smiling at him. It's official now. We. Are. Together.!! Before we went out, I grabbed my camera, "Wait!" I spoke. "I want the first picture on my camera to be from the day I want to remember forever!" He giggled and blushed. For the picture, we kissed. We didnt even plan it. We looked into eachothers eyes, we both leaned in and locked lips. I snapped the picture and it turned out beautiful. We smiled then we walked out of his room, hand in hand. And didn't let go once. He insisted we go tell the boys about us. We rushed towards them. "You finally did it!" Liam said with a smile. I looked at my feet then back up again. "Congrats you two!" Harry exclaimed!

We were still holding hands.

I looked around and saw the girl who attacked Niall earlier. She walked straight up to me and told me off. "Who do you think you are? Trying to steal my man?" I could smell the alcohol on her breath. I looked up at Niall. He looked down at me. "Umm.... We're kinda together?" I spoke shakily. Out of nowhere, she slapped me. Her long witchy nails clawing my cheek. I stumbled. "What the fuck do you think you're doing!" Niall shouted at her. "You are extremely drunk and weren't even invited here and then you hit my girlfriend!" "Get out of my damn house!!" He pointed towards the door. Her and her skimpy friends all walked out, tripping here and there due to being intoxicated.

Niall rushed to my aid. "Are you okay babe?" He asked concerned caressing my cheek. "I'm fine" I answered "But she really dug into me!" He escorted me to the washroom. He rubbed some polysporin on to my scratches. He looked into my eyes and smiled, he kissed my nose and we went back out.

I looked at the time. It was 7:00. Surprisingly, there weren't many people left. Only me, the boys & a couple of the boys friends. They saw me and Niall hand in hand. "We've got 2 love birds over here!" Exclaimed Zayn. Louis turned his head and looked disgusted. He walked over to Niall and looked up at him. "Watch this one. She's a handful!" He glared at me. Niall instantly swore & told him off but Louis began to fight back. Niall was getting so fed up, he punched Louis in the arm. He rubbed the spot he had just been punched. Out of no where. Louis kicked Niall in the balls. It sent Niall dropping to his knees.

Louis walked away. We all stared in disbelief. "Niall! Are you going to be okay!" I rushed down to him. He moaned and groaned. "Oh my god!" Zayn whispered, rubbing his forehead. "I'll go talk to him." Spoke Harry. "Come on Niall. Lets go to the couch." Liam helped Niall up. Still grasping his hurt area. "What a douchebag!" Niall shouted. "I could've knocked him out if I wanted, but I didn't have the guts to do it!" I nodded. I hugged him. "You sure you're alright?" He nodded. "I'll be fine love" He smiled at me. "I'm not going to let that jerk ruin this day!" He winked. "I'll leave you two alone." Liam grinned as he walked off.

We were in the living room. On the couch. Niall put his arm around me and we cuddled, watching scary movies. I was beginning to grow tired. I nuzzled my face into his neck. 'Best birthday ever.' I whispered. He rubbed my back as I fell asleep.
