warnings: Alcohol consumption, arguing, depression, Logan being an asshole, very angsty, mentions of violence and blood, nudity, kissing, making out, naked grinding

As much as Logan like to pretend that he was stable, he wound up at the bar this Sunday night, whiskey in hand. He doesn't remember how many he's had and all he can think about is how much of a fraud he was. He acted so different around you, another side of his personality coming out, one that he reserved for his daughter. He wanted to pretend that he wasn't scared, that if this does turn serious, would it completely break him? Logan told you about his ex-wife, how the two split up, but there was a lot more going on back then. He doesn't if he could've had a chance to love her if hadn't been drinking as much. He drinks and he drinks to feel numb, but it also brings out his anger, his depression. When Jenny wanted a divorce it sent Logan into a spiral, he didn't accept it right away, he didn't accept that he didn't love her.

It doesn't happen very often but when it gets to the anniversary of his father's death, he doesn't even have to remember the date to feel the trauma. He stops showing up to therapy, he usually sends Laura to her mom's early. Things had changed from the previous year when he went into his depression. The difference was that you were in his life now. It had barely been a month and he felt like he couldn't handle the relationship. It wasn't your fault and it wasn't because it was hard. Trying to be there for you wasn't difficult for him but feeling worthy of someone else is hard for him.

Logan laughed darkly to himself as he picked up his drink and brought it to his lips, thinking about how you were up front about your intimacy issues and were completely fine. But he didn't tell you about this and he didn't know if he was going to.

Once he starts going down the rabbit hole of self-doubt, he doesn't come out for a long time. He pushes everyone away and usually Wade's the one there to pick him up. But he also blames Wade for sticking his nose into places it didn't belong. Probing him about his relationship with you, wanting to know every detail, he didn't care if it was coming from a good place, it pissed him off. When he got home that night, he punched a hole in the wall before nursing his wounds with liquor.

But that's when you showed up, he hadn't texted you in a week, and you were starting to worry about him

But that's when you showed up, he hadn't texted you in a week, and you were starting to worry about him. Though because you lived in the city, you didn't have your own car, and the car your grandparents had was so beaten down it was really only used for emergencies. So, Eva and Justin decide to come just in case something was really wrong, he'd been gone from work for a week too. But Justin also told you about how this happened last year as well.

So it was a yearly thing? You thought.

You didn't know what to think but you knew you really cared for this man, it was serious yet, he was taking it slow with you. It gave you this since of security, that he wasn't rushing this like our clock was running out of time. The sex, well, that was act of passion, you both clearly needed to get laid, and you were attracted to each other. It was just also a coincidence that you wanted to date each other. The way you thought about him warmed your heart, the way he spoke to you, when he laughed at your stupid jokes and argumentative personality.
