April 2040.

Rory was sitting in a hotel room with Lorelai, watching her now 25 year old daughter get ready for her wedding along with her bridesmaids Maya, Elle, and Kylee.

"When did she grow up?" Rory asked.

"I think I asked Luke the same thing at your wedding" Lorelai said.

Rory chuckled softly. "God, Logan would be so proud of her"

"He'd be proud of you too" Lorelai said. Rory rolled her eyes. "I'm serious. By yourself you raised an intelligent, educated, kind and caring young woman. She's about to be a lawyer for god's sake. You did that"

A little while later, Rory and Sophie were standing behind a set of double doors.

"What's going through that head of yours?" Rory asked.

"Is it weird that I miss him?" Sophie asked. "I mean, it's not like I really even remember him. I was a baby when he died. Not to mention that it was 24 years ago"

"It's not weird" Rory said. "Not a day goes by that I don't think about him. But what I can tell you is that he would've loved to be standing here right now. And he would've been so proud of you. So proud"

Sophie smiled softly. "Don't make me cry before the ceremony even starts"

Rory chuckled softly. "Alright kid...you ready for this?"

"Yeah"

AN: that's it. Sorry the ending took so long but I wanted to think of a good way to end it.
