I walked up to his room and knocked on the door twice. My hand shaking,anger and anxiety in me trying to get out. "hey fin!are you in there?" My voice was raspy and sleepy,not because I'm tired,my voice is always like this when I feel negative emotions.
"yeah,come in, the door is open" he said laying on the bed.
I opened the door, came in and walked up to him. "I wanna talk about Tina" I sat down on the bed fidgeting my hands. "I think-I think I'm falling for her,badly" I sighed heavily.
Finneas smiled. "I know you are" he chuckled softly. "it's hard not to notice the way you look at her,take care of her and you are basically all the time with her"
I nodded not surprised, "I don't wanna fall in love again,but it feels safe with her,and it's also the first time of me falling in love with a woman..and I..I love it,I really like her,i realized it today when I was jealous of a girl flirting with her,it's all so fast,I've never felt so attached in such short time,I'm scared,I'm really scared Fin" i said with a furrow.
"don't be,it's okay,it happens and it's totally normal" he patted my shoulder. "I can see the way she looks at you,she adores you Billie,I trust her. Of course we can't be sure,but I feel like she won't hurt you,and besides,why would she let you be so close to her if she didn't like you? look,if she didn't like you she'd find it all weird,but she doesn't! It means that you're safe,just go for it,slowly,carefully,but confidently,don't be scared of something you've made up in your mind" he said with a smile.
I looked down,a smile forming on my face. "thank you,you're the best,dickhead" I said laughing and I ran out of the room with a grin on my face. I wanted to go to the canteen,but I felt my phone buzzing,i pulled it out of my pocket,it was Tina. I replied immediately. "yes love?"
"hey uhm,sorry for disturbing but I need to go to the bathroom real quick and ah,I tried to get up,but I fell which is why I'm on the floor right now,can't say it's comfortable.." she chuckled bitterly.
I gasped. "Tina! Oh my God! I'm coming now" I ran towards our door and got in to see Tina laying on the floor with an awkward smile on her face. "You were told that you're not allowed to walk or get up! Do you want to get your stitches open or something?" I yelled,I approached her,kneeled down and lifted her up. I walked in the bathroom and sat her down on the toilet. "wait,let me see if the stitches are fine first" I lifted the dress edge a little bit so I could see the stitches,they were fine.
"I swear to god Tina if you try to get up again-" I warned.
she sighed heavily "I won't,I'm sorry,now can you get out? cuz I don't wanna piss myself" she chuckled,I got out.
When she was done,she called for me. I lifted her up and got out. I lied down on the bed letting go of her.
"I feel pathetic to be honest" she said out of nowhere after 20 minutes of comfortable silence.
"I know how you feel,I've had a lot of leg injuries and i had to walk like a fucking penguin or be carried because of my ankle breaking all the time" I chuckled,stroking her hair. "who do I leave you with baby?" I saw how she flushed when I called her that,I smirked. "I don't know anybody I can trust you with,like maybe Claudia but she wants to see the show,so thats not an option" I sighed.
"there's no need to leave me with anybody,i can manage" she said quietly.
"no." was all I said,before I pulled my phone out to call my managers and ask them if they can arrange something. Danny's busy, so i called Laura. She replied immediately. "hi laura"
"hi love,what's up?" she asked,the wind blowing in her mic,she's probably outside.
"so my assistant got injured badly and can't walk for like a few days on her own,so I need you to find somebody who can help her out"
"oh,yeah,I know somebody,do you want me to send you their number?"
"yes,please do,are you sure it's somebody trustworthy?" I looked at Tina,she was editing her playlist on spotify.
"yes,absolutely Billie,don't worry." she said rushing somewhere. "okay,Billie i gotta go,I don't know if I can arrange it quick,maybe you call and ask her?"
"yeah yeah,of course,give me the number I'll do it" I said reassuringly nodding to myself.
She sent me the number after hanging up. Tina was watching me silently,I called the number after typing it in.
"hello?" she had a female voice,i sighed,thank god it's a woman.
We talked for about 15 minutes,i told her what happened,when and how long she needs to be here and she agreed with everything. While talking to her I was admiring Tina. I could see the sadness and guilt in her eyes,it made my heart ache.
I hung up and lied down beside her.
"why are you upset?"I help her hand.
"I'm a problem" she whispered stroking my hand softly.
"you're not a problem Tina,stop it" I kissed her forehead.
"you had to spend all day with me because of my leg,carry me,find me a babysitter,I am a problem Billie" she sighed heavily,her hand squeezing mine.
"I do it because I wanna do it,I appreciate you Tina and I want you to be okay,okay?" I rubbed her back while saying that.
"thank you" she cuddled me,I smiled.
I love her,I know I do.
