The Battling Century

A devastated future

Years pass and the world is devastated, the future callers can't understand why the invaders don't use their light wave more, I'm told to prepare for the final attack wave, I gear up and head out, it feels like I've got to overcome mountain steppes on high plains region, got to gather what weapons I can, to fight invaders who finally have appeared, 

they're a lot like us except in appearance looking like blue skin but using army vehicles, seems caller from future won't be much help, I look down ahead, it seems Michonne from the walking dead is already fighting the invaders, she has high capacity rifle and planted mortars to fire like automated turrets raining down fury on invaders, she ducks behind cover from enemy fire but she's all alone 

I've got to jetpack over and start blasting away enemy myself, afterwards I pass some acquaintances that have been turned by the light and now fight for invaders they can't reach me from down there so I fly off glad I brought my frequency blocking glasses headpiece, I land on a structure high above, it's like the world is in one big studio building beneath these lights, and I'm on the high skywalk overhead where I start firing my weapons at enemy,

I feel like solid snake, as I'm blasting from above Michonne starts breaking into song and dance crying out the lyrics to Queen's somebody to love, can anybody find me, she belts out her lungs, and it's heard far and wide along with the musical instrumentation, far away the survivalist brothers hear it and head over,

it's Ethan hawke and his brother they're traveling through a shallow river but once they hear the song they know it's signal to head over and help, hawke is a sniper with long range scoped rifle and his brother expertly wields a boomerang which can take out clustered enemies all at once,

enemy tanks fire at me and I fall taking little damage since I'm wearing high body armor, I almost bounce a little bit instead of taking much damage, then the hawke brothers arrive firing and slicing enemy from afar, Michonne gets out and fires a grenade launcher, 

I've got two super machine pistols that fire industry grade incendiary rounds, we have to give time for civilians to escape, Tobey Maguire also web slings in and helps with the evacuation, the future people broadcast a message to all the people using all broadcast equipment, but enemy just used their frequency to take over minds of several, 

including Scarlett Johansson who as Black widow, or so she thinks she is, takes escapees and fights off her friends who try and stop her without hurting her, I ask the future if there's a way to reverse the mind control and they tell me through my headpiece that it's permanent, 

but I don't give up and I attack enemy as I avoid friends and family attacking me, from high above I see in the tall grass the enemy surround a swordsman, many Velociraptors approach in great numbers but the swordsman is able to slice in the air and create long distance slashes to take out multiple enemies at once from afar, when the few remaining enemies finally do reach him he's able to dispatch them with expert close quarters swordsmanship, it seems we're mostly winning for now
