The night was pitch black, the kind of darkness that seemed to swallow the world whole. The air was thick with tension as Felix stood on the edge of the cliff, staring down at the distant fortress where Clara was being held captive. The wind howled around him, a cruel reminder of the danger that awaited him. But Felix wasn't afraid. His resolve was unshakeable, forged in the fires of love and desperation. He had only one mission: to bring Clara back safely, no matter the cost.

Clara, his Clara, who was carrying their child—twenty weeks along. The thought of her enduring any kind of harm while carrying their baby made Felix's blood boil. He clenched his fists, his knuckles turning white. He had always known that this mission would be dangerous, but now it felt even more perilous, knowing that two lives hung in the balance.

Felix had assembled a small but skilled team for the rescue. They were handpicked—men and women he trusted with his life. Each of them had their own reasons for joining him, but none were as strong as Felix's. He gave them a quick nod, signaling that it was time to move. They descended the cliff with practiced ease, their movements silent and precise.

The fortress was heavily guarded, as expected. Men with guns patrolled the perimeter, their eyes scanning the darkness for any signs of intruders. But Felix and his team were like shadows, slipping past the guards unnoticed. They reached the outer wall and prepared to breach it.

"Stay sharp," Felix whispered, his voice barely audible over the wind. His heart was pounding in his chest, but he forced himself to stay calm. Panic would only get them killed.

They used grappling hooks to scale the wall, moving quickly and quietly. Felix was the first to reach the top, and he crouched low, scanning the courtyard below. It was eerily quiet, too quiet. Something didn't feel right, but there was no time to second-guess. Clara was inside that fortress, and every second counted.

Once inside, the team split up to cover more ground. Felix's heart raced as he made his way through the dimly lit corridors, his mind focused on one thing: finding Clara. He encountered a few guards along the way, and each one fell swiftly, taken down by Felix's expert hand-to-hand combat skills. But with each enemy he took out, the weight of the situation pressed heavier on his shoulders.

Finally, Felix reached the door to the room where Clara was being held. He could feel her presence, sense her fear. He took a deep breath and kicked the door open, ready for a fight.

Inside, Clara was sitting on a cold, metal chair, her hands bound behind her back. She looked up as the door flew open, and for a moment, their eyes met. Felix saw the fear in her eyes, but he also saw something else—determination. Clara had always been strong, and even now, in the face of danger, she hadn't given up.

"Felix!" she cried out, relief washing over her face.

Felix rushed to her side, cutting through the ropes that bound her wrists. "Are you okay?" he asked, his voice thick with emotion.

Clara nodded, tears welling up in her eyes. "I'm fine, but we have to get out of here. They're planning something, Felix. It's a trap."

Before Felix could respond, the sound of heavy footsteps echoed down the corridor. The door slammed open, and a group of armed men stormed into the room. Felix quickly positioned himself between Clara and the attackers, his heart pounding in his chest.

The fight was brutal. Felix moved like a man possessed, taking down the attackers with a ferocity that shocked even him. He was fighting for more than just his life—he was fighting for Clara, for their unborn child. Every punch, every kick was fueled by his love for her, his desperation to keep her safe.

Clara wasn't just a bystander. Even in her weakened state, she fought back, using her intelligence to outmaneuver the attackers. She grabbed a fallen gun and fired at the men who were closing in on Felix. Her hands shook, but her aim was true. She took down two of them before the gun was knocked out of her hands.
