I turn around to be jabbed sharply in the face, I move backwards and recover my balance just to see the top of a man's head almost vanish into a wall of crates, I try to grab him but I'm too late and run into the crates, I turn around and begin to run but before I can get any further I see a fist I the appear in my peripheral vision, I try to dodge but I'm not fast enough. The impact knocks me into the middle of a hallway, the walls still entirely made of crates but it's larger than the others. Once I regain my balance I yell in rage at the man, his tactics are infuriating and I need this to be over quick before others appear

“Get out here and fight dam you!”

“Heh I've never seen a Contractor get angry” He slyly comments as he walks out from a wall, his sarcastic smile says it all, ill lose if I don't do something fast.

I raise my hands in a attempt to guard my face but he just tuts and walks back into the wall. No matter how much I resent it he's right I need to think logically. I stand in the centre of the room knowing at least if I can't stop him it will at least give me more time to react. That's it! A idea rushes to my head and I know exactly what I need to do, I cut the ends of my fingers and use it to splash my blood on the edges of the hall hopefully he won't notice the next time he decides to attack. I sit down confidently knowing that I can get this over and done with quickly so I decide to finish off my drawing of the warehouse, I finish it off and realise that the only place I haven't been is the end of the this corridor. I stand up ready to leave hoping that if I try to leave he'll stop me but he doesn't appear, maybe it's something to do with his payment I think to myself as I begin to walk onwards checking over my shoulder occasionally. At the end of the corridor is a door, I grab it and twist, fortunately for me its unlocked so I continue without a problem. Then I realise why it wasn't locked. It didn't need to be. A small girl was sat in the centre of the room on-top of a glass case which stored what I was looking for. Her bright pink hair and playful smile could only mean trouble, she winked at me and let out a playful laugh. Suddenly the air becomes stale, what was going to happen? I question myself when I realise what that meant. I roll forwards just in time behind me a massive bolt of lightning smashes into the ground obliterating where I was standing, the girl continued to sit and wave her feet in the air as they didn't reach the ground.

“Pff mister you're no fun” She comments he eyes turning towards me, they look empty and cold exactly like a contractors should. The ground beneath me shakes I try to dodge but I'm not fast enough! I fall backwards and the girl pushes off the case, she lands lightly but still holds her hands outstretched as-if we was mimicking a ballerina she tiptoes close to me, her eyes wide in ecstasy, no wait... enjoyment.

“Hey did you know iron is a great conductor” She says widening her smile almost as-if she was hinting at something, I plant my hand on the ground hoping to grab some debris maybe I could distract her and grab the lens before she notices but when I touch the ground it feels... cold. I try to grab some debris and notice it's a lot heavier than I'd expect. Wait! My mind clicks, she turned it to iron! Her power, its transmutation. I stand up as fast as I can realising the potential horrors she could inflict upon me as she slowly approaches, pink ribbons wrapped around her ankles and neck fluttered in the wind as she got close to the hole in the roof.

“C'mon! Do somethin' fun!” She paddies waving her hands as if I was entertainment, it was strange for a contractor to be this young so I suppose her over emotional attitude came with that nevertheless she was dangerous and I couldn't get her stand in my way. I stand up with a handful of iron in my hand focusing my power onto it, I could feel it become liquid as I whip my hand forward onto her feet, she screams in agony but honestly I couldn't care less and she didn't either it was a attempt to get sympathy from me, I wasn't in the mood for this. I moved quickly to the case, I smashed it with my fist and snatched what was inside, she cried and swore at me but I ignored it and left.

When I walked down the corridor I decided to inspect the object, it was a green lens like for a telescope or possibly a contact lens I would have tried to put it in as it seemed to be the size of a eye however I couldn’t fathom where it had been.

“Hello there” A voice comments behind me, I turn around but stopped somebody grabbed both my arms and dragged them above my head, I try to struggle but they were much stronger than me however I had expected this much. I click my fingers letting out a small smirk, I feel my power activate, the blood I left here earlier begins to glow faintly. The debris begins to shake violently and launches up in the air luckily the majority of them hit the man confusing him enough for me to escape from his grip I turn around to see the man from earlier he must have used his power to catch me by surprise. Turning around my eyes set of killing I grab his arm and spin it behind his back, my other hand on the top of his face

“You'll never get away with this” He comments, his face still blank and calm despite been in such a grim position.

“I'd like to see you try” I musingly reply as I use my ability to deliver the final blow.
