Tunnels made of golden light glistened in a never-ending forest of other golden tunnels. In them, they contained worlds unlike our own. From worlds that have psychics to others that contain lifeforms beyond compression, the potential is limitless. And because of their potential, they stretched as far as the eye could see. It would be a tranquil site had it not been for one thing.
The Devourer of Worlds. A being composed of mysterious energy that seemed to counter the golden lights of various worlds, it made its way across the many branches of gold, slowly eating off their light, letting worlds die.
Despite the terror of this Devourer, fret not, for the golden branches that made up this never ending forest would fight back as one, as the World Link. They would call upon the greatest of heroes of various worlds, and see to it that they triumph over this evil.
So it would be, portals opened up in worlds left and right causing chaos to spread and many heroes and villains alike to meet.
So begins the Distorted Legacies of various stories.
