nineteen. (natlynn's ending)

Natlynn Jack.

Natsu knew from the moment he kissed her during the mission. The touch of her skin and the sight of her smile made his heart beat. She invaded his mind, her aura drew him closer to her by the day. Before they left the guild, Natsu caught Lucy and explained his true feelings for Natlynn. The blonde simply smiled and hugged Natsu, saying that she was happy for them and it would never affect their friendship.

Natlynn looked over her shoulder at the pinkette, turning around with a full smile. Natsu felt his face fluster at the sight. Goddamit, he was head over heels for her.

"Needed a breather, too?" Natlynn teased.

Natsu shook his head, "I actually came out here to talk to you."

Natlynn looked at him confused, watching him step in front of her. Natsu gently took her soft hands into his, rubbing them softly. Natlynn felt herself blush as she looked up at him. Natsu exhaled a nervous sigh as he looked into her dark eyes.

"I want you."

Surprise overtook Natlynn's face, her eyes widening and she let out a nervous laugh, "Wha—Huh?"

"From the moment I saw you, it felt like you put me under a trance. And everytime I'm around you, I just want you more and more, to protect you from anything that would mess with your happiness. And when you kissed me, it felt right." Natsu confessed. "Natlynn, I love you."

Natlynn was too stunned to speak, different emotions swarming through her. She shook her head, trying to come back to reality, "But Lucy—"

"I talked to her earlier before you two left the guild. She's happy for us and for you, there's no bad blood between us." Natsu interjected. "What do you say? Will you be my girlfriend?"

Natlynn smiled happily, throwing her arms around his neck and pulling him for a kiss. Natsu smiled in the kiss, putting his hands on her waist and kissing her back lovingly. This kiss was the best one out of the other ones they've shared; it showed their true feelings for each other. It wasn't hot and lustful, it was gentle and sweet. It was the best kiss Natlynn had ever shared with someone. She pulled away from the dragon, a soft smile on her face, "I would love to be your girlfriend." Natlynn smiled, him returning the smile before pecking her lips.

"Would you like to come back to my place?" Natsu asked lowly. She saw the glimpse of lust in his eyes, biting her lip at the thought. She nodded her head, pecking his lips again, "But first, I need to talk to Luce."

The pair entered back to the lively party, it seem not to be dying down anytime soon. Natlynn looked around for her older sister, catching her with Levy, Erza and Cana. She headed over to the group of girls, smiling at them as she got closer. "Hi guys," She waved, them returning the gesture. "Can I borrow Lu real quick?"

The older Heartfilia stood up, the two of them walking away for a bit before Natlynn stopped. "What's wrong?" Lucy asked, looking at her sister with concern.

"Are you okay?" Natlynn asks, fiddling with her fingers and looking around nervously, "With me and Natsu?"

It took a moment to realize what she was talking about but Lucy simply snickered, "Of course I am, Natlynn. I don't hate you or anything."

"I know but—"

"Me and Natsu are just friends, nothing more nothing less. And that's all we're meant to be. He loves you and you deserve to be happy. You deserve him." Lucy smiles, taking her hands into hers.

Natlynn say the genuineness in her chocolate eyes, smiling at her sister before engulfing her into a hug. "Thank you, Lucy." She mumbled softly, the blonde squeezed her back.
