I woke up in the morning as the sunlight caressed my face, feeling refreshed...well, not so much. They worked me too hard to the point that I passed out with sweat and made me dizzy! I got up to use my onsen in my own house until I heard one of my crows speak words to me from an open window. ?: "Caw! Sanemi needs your help with a boy and a box!" Really...that wasn't specific enough. Y/n: "Oh really? Tell him I will be there shortly because I need my skincare routine." The crow got angry with me as it swooped up and down my head, attacking me with the strength they had. ?: "You need to go now! He stabbed a demon in the box. Caw!" Y/n: "Ow! So? He is doing the right thing by killing demons; why would I need to go?" I faced away from it, but I heard the crow suddenly change its voice to a lower tone. ?: "Because you like him." I felt stunned and turned my body towards the crow wanting to kill this little shit. Y/n: "What..."

It flew away when I was going to hit it. I sighed, got out of my bath, and walked to my mirror, judging myself and noticing scars all over my body. I wouldn't say I liked it after I finished putting on my makeup, but I saw two people standing behind my mirror. They sounded like my parents when they were alive... ?: "Why are you putting makeup on your face when you're a grown "Woman?" ...?: "You should be ashamed of yourself when you're supposed to be a girl at birth, yet you put makeup on yourself, hiding your identity, so act like it." *SLAP* I had to break down and punch my mirror, which shattered into pieces. I was so angry that I didn't even bother patching up my hand, which caused immense blood. I put my clothes on and headed outside. I saw Sanemi holding a wooden box in front of a boy with his hands tied behind his back. Huh, so my crow didn't lie to me this time.

S: "Run by me that again, kid? She can fight as a demon slayer to protect humans, is that it? You know what we call that?... Completely impossible, you idiot!!!" He then pierced the box, making blood come out, and threw it behind the boy; he was furious at him and then charged straight at him, using his head to hit Sanemi's head as he fell. S: "Damn you..." I stared at Obanai deathly as he quickly turned away. ?: "If you can't tell the difference between a good demon and a bad one, you shouldn't be a hashira!" Oh shit, I didn't expect this to happen. S: "You knew good little-" He grabbed his sword. S: "I will destroy you!" He pulled it out of the box, creating more blood. The boy charged at him again and jumped up so high to hit his head again that most people were shocked. He got up again but forced the boy's head on the ground since the master came out, and so everyone bowed down on the ground. I wasn't paying attention to anyone as I stared at the ground. But I only heard a few words from my master, which shocked us all. M: "Tanjirou has met Kebusuji face to face." S: What was Kebusuji doing? Did you find his stronghold?"

I had to step in to prevent more chaos. Y/n: "Alright, guys, let's leave him alone. Yes, I just got here, but if he truly says his word, he has to be trained properly." S: "Are you serious about taking him in like a leash dog." I had given him a death stare as he stared at me. I was stronger and faster than him, so I grabbed Tanjiro and the demon in the box and put them by me quickly. Y/n: "Look, I'm not gonna argue with someone who always has anger issues and doesn't even know their past." S: Tch..." Y/n: "Tomioka-san, you have done it since you found him first." To: "Eh? Where did you see us?" Y/n: "I have my ways." I bowed to everyone and headed to my house. Ta: "Thank you!" I wanted to cook something but forgot that my hand was bruised from punching my mirror...I heard a knock on my door and opened it to see Sanemi. I wanted to close the door on him, but he stopped me. I forced myself to close it, but he got in.

S: "What do you think you are doing? How are you going to let a stranger get in!" Y/n: "like you just did now." S: ".....Well, that's not my point!" I rolled my eyes at him and went to my onsen to clean up the mess. S: "You knew you intended to bring him in." Y/n: Master said he met the "Demon Lord" face to face, so why are you mad about it?" S: "He is just a kid; he doesn't know how to weld a sword yet." Y/n: "That's why I gave him to Tomioka-San so that he can learn." I turned around to see him very angry at me. S: "He let a demon get in that can go on a rampage." Y/n: "But that's the thing, you don't know what can and could not happen." I was being truthful about it, but Sanemi was too furious to think and wanted to hit me, but I reacted too quickly and prepared myself to block him with my hands covering my face. Sanemi stopped and realized what he was doing; he noticed my hands were bleeding and my broken mirror had blood on it, too. S: " Wait...give me your hands." Y/n: "What?" S: "Give me your hands!" I hesitated to put them down on his. He grabbed a wet rag and carefully rubbed off the blood. My dull eyes started to cry; I didn't think that he would take care of me like this; not even my parents would do it for me. Y/n: "Sanemi...there is something I have to tell you..." S: "You don't need to say it; it was my fault." Y/n: "But-" S: "No, buts okay?" I just looked away, being disappointed in myself. S: "Better?" I nodded with a fake smile on my face.

He took me outside, and the sun looked to be setting. ?: "Caw! Caw! Demons up ahead where Tanjiro and a box were fighting." We rushed over to them as they multiplied. A girl came out of the box fighting the demons. She kicked off a demon's head into a tree. Holy shit, she is strong. Y/n: "Blood art...first form." I cut my palm onto my sword as it was activated red. I sped my way to cut a few, but they kept spawning every time. Suddenly, a demon could scratch my face when I was distracted by another. I hissed and covered my eyes. S: "You bastard..." Sanemi was quick to slash them along with Tanjirou and Nezuko. For some reason, my body felt weakened, and I had to cough up blood a lot. I felt dizzy. I will return to my house and lie back in my bath now. S: "Y/n, wake up, please." Sanemi had his voice low as he woke me up. when he sat near the edge Y/n: "what happened?" S: "You passed out, but we defeated the demons." We heard knocking as Sanemi opened the door but closed it immediately. Y/n: "Who was that Sanemi?" S: "Nobody." We heard vigorous knocking on my door, and Sanemi let them as he rolled his eyes. T: "Hey, Y/n, how are you feeling?" Y/n: "I'm fine." T: "Me and Nezuko saw you passing out when one of the demons scratched your face, so we had to take you back home." N: "Mmhmm!" Y/n: "Aw, thank you guys." S: "Yes, that's it; now, leave us alone." I shrugged at them. T: "But-" He closed the door on them and walked back to me. Y/n: "Okay, Sanemi, I need to talk to you." S: "I'm here now and ready to listen to you." I got nervous as we stared into each other's dull eyes; I was so scared that I felt like crying. Y/n: "Sanemi, I needed to tell you this, but...I'm a man." S: "What..." Y/n: "I know I should have told you earlier, but you wouldn't let me." I hid my face, crying; Sanemi removed one of my hands.

He saw tears running down my face as mascara was ruining it. S: "Tch...You could have told me earlier; you know I like you too, idiot." Huh...He grabbed a box of tissues and wiped my eyes. Y/n: "Thank you, Sanemi." We both smiled at each other. S: "If that's what you think, then you are completely wrong. I love you." Y/n: "You do?" S: "Yes, I do; it doesn't matter what gender you are to me." he kissed me on the lips and got up to leave. S: "I'll be back for you later." He left, and I hugged my pillow to sleep.
