For some reason, I always wake up late instead of in the morning, yet I show up on time when it's my turn to slay the demons. I don't particularly appreciate talking to people other than my master; whenever I have time, I speak to him and his family or stroll outside until...?: Y/n come here."Y/n: "What the fuck did you say to me, Muichiro." M: "I said come here now." Bitch I will slap you; Muichiro and I had been childhood friends since he was eight and I was four, although we would fight and argue all the time. I rolled my eyes and walked to him. M: "Remember to return to me when you're done slaying demons." Y/n: "You said that to me before and are saying it now as if I forgot things." M: "Heh, you do, hence why I must keep retelling myself to you." Y/n: "Don't worry about it because I am going." I didn't notice that Muichiro wanted to go out with me to slay demons, yet he wanted to confess something. M: "Wait, Y/n..." but I had already left him behind. I stayed quiet when I was walking in town, empty as usual. I sat down on a bench and looked up at the moon. It's so bright and shining; right as I looked at my left, an old man with his cane sat next to me. Was I too distracted to notice that man? I was alert and pulled my sword out, but he didn't do anything. I caught myself and sat back down. ?: "Be careful out there." Y/n: "What? I am a demon slayer; what about you?" ?: "I will be fine...you youngsters have to be safe out here." Y/n: "Mmm.." I looked at the ground and saw scurry little ants. ?: "Even the young ones can forget to get hurt in situations by a loved one." Questioning, I looked at the old man, but he vanished. I heard a lot of screams up on the mountain.

What a coincidence. I rushed there as quickly as possible, but no one was there. Feeling nervous, I wanted to return, but something caught me on my legs, then my arm. I tried to move and cut the string off of me, but I could feel thumping in my head. A demon was slowly walking towards me. How did I not notice this? It started to charge at me, and I jumped so high that I kicked the demon. Finally, I managed to free myself, but it was chains that were spewing out of their blood onto me. It only hit me one time on the cheek of my face. I dodged them and got close to the demon, but it moved back. I kept trying to hit it, but I kept missing each shot. Until...THUD...the demon pinned my head against the ground and scratched my neck. I used my leg to levitate my lower body and slipped the demon's head into the ground, and slit its neck as it dissipated. I felt weak at the moment as I was losing consciousness and fell to the ground just as it started to rain.

I suddenly woke up and saw sunlight that was burning my eyes. Y/n: "Where am I?"?: "In the infirmary." I was jumped by a voice speaking out; I saw a figure with teal tips in his hair. ?: "I thought you were supposed to return to me after slaying demons." I didn't even say anything but spoke up. Y/n: "Who are you?" Michiro flashed his eyes at me and walked to me. M: "Wait, what do you say..." Y/n: "I asked who you are." Muchirio stumbled back and felt stunned but slightly chuckled. M: "It's me, Muichiro, your childhood friend." I just shook my head. Muchirio held his head, trying to keep it together as he yelled for Shinobu. S: "Moshi moshi!" Y/n: "Oh, hello! Why am I here?" She walks to me, examining me as she finally opens her eyes. S: " You were unconscious from slaying demons until Muichiro here saved you." Y/n: "Slaying...demons..Muichiro?" S: "Oh my...She doesn't remember anything." Muichiro felt like his world fell apart, and his heart shattered. He didn't want to pry any longer, so he left me and Shinobu. Y/n: "He looks sad..." S: "He really wanted you to remember...but from now I will take charge and take care of you until you have gained strength." I nod. Meanwhile, Muichiro couldn't fathom how Y/n doesn't remember a thing in their entire life. He tries to keep a facade from falling, but it tore him apart. I'm sure the other demon slayers have heard of their conditions, but something doesn't quite fit with him. His ocean eyes turned a darker shade of blue and his skin turned paler. He wanted to go home but Mitsuri found him and wanted to talk. Mi: "Hey Muichiro, wait up!" She ran to him and stopped in his tracks. Mu: "What is it now Mitsuri, if it's about Y/n I don't want to talk about it anymore." Mitsuri was shy and hesitant for asking but she spoke up. Mi: "Well...even though I knew that you liked Y/n and not everyone else..." Muichiro was stunned when Mitsuri knew all along. Mi: "I was thinking...maybe you could bring her flowers?" Muichiro pondered. Flowers...? Mitsuri nodded. Muichiro slightly smiled. Mu: "I will do whatever it takes to make them remember, Even if... they won't remember me. His smile falters a bit but then Mitsuri hugs him. Muichiro was suffocating in her boobs until she finally lets go. Mi: "Do remember what their favorite flowers are?" Mu: "Y-Yes it's [your favorite flower]. Mitsuri smiled as she grabbed his hand and brought  him to her house. Right as he entered her house there were so many flowers around yet her room is spacious to seem like there wasn't enough flowers.

Hours later, Muichiro approached the infirmary to give me one potted flower. I woke up hearing footsteps near me. Y/n: "H-Huh...?" Mu: "Shhh." Y/n: "What are you doing here." Mu: "Just wanted to check on you." I scoffed and gave him a side-eye. Y/n: 'What are you my boyfriend?" Muichiro was stunned and wanted to say something but he kept quiet as he clenched his fist. Shinobu came over. S: "Ah, I see; you are awake, Y/n. Do you remember what happened yesterday?" Y/n: "Uh, partially." S: "Partially huh..." Shinobu looked at Muichiro and his flowers that he gave to me and suddenly had an idea. S: "Will you excuse me Y/n? I need to talk to Muichiro for a minute." Y/n: Okay...? Shinobu gave me a plate of food and walked out with Muichiro, closing the door behind them. S: "Muichiro...where did you get the flowers?" Mu: "From Mitsuri...why?" S: "I think that might be the key for her to remember." Mu: "Really? Shinobu nodded. S: "Sometimes reminiscing about someone with a gift can help jog their memories." Mu: "I see...I guess I can come back tomorrow?" Shinobu got this under control and left him to think. Later that day, the hashiras couldn't help but notice Muichiro kept coming in and out with pots of many different flowers in the infirmary. O: "What is he doing..." R: "How lovely; he keeps sending flowers to Y/n in the infirmary since her incident!" Rengoku said so boldly. Sanemi, Guiyu, and Gyomei stayed quiet but then Uzui had to something to say. U: "Each day he brings her flowers is very flamboyant but...is this an invitation to...?" Sanemi slapped Uzui's head from behind." G: "Stop talking..." Renguko spots Muichiro. R: "Hey Muichiro can you come here for a second?" Muichiro followed. 

S: "What are your attentions with Y/n?" Mu: "Sorry, Senmi, but she is mine." All the boys were stunned. R: "Woah, look at our little Mui finding love!" He growled slightly. Mu: "Guys, I love her...I was too blind to not see since our childhood." The boys were shocked. Gy: "To think Muichiro would find someone first than us." ... Y/n: "Muichiro...." Muicihiro slowly turned around. Y/n: "I remember..." Mui: "What..." Y/n: "I remember when I would sneak out from my parent's house just to see you." His eyes start to shine suddenly. Y/n: "I remember when you would help me whenever I got hurt or sick." He starts to smile. Y/n: "A-And I remember saying I love you when we looked at the stars. But you didn't say I love you back..." I started to cry as Muichiro rushed to me, giving me a tight hug." I was startled but hugged him back. Shinobu and Mitsuri were behind me, smiling. Mui: "I love you Y/n." Everyone starts clapping.
