Warnings: none

Y/N clipped her mother's necklace around her neck. "You look very nice Lady Y/N." Inna complimented, looking at her work.

"Thank you." Y/N replied, still feeling a bit awkward in such extravagant wear. Though she would be lying if she said it wasn't growing on her.

Walking over to the mirror, she looked at everything together. The makeup that Inna had done, the dress Zandik had made for this specific event. Her mother's necklace that laid in between her collarbone.

She couldn't even recognize herself but she thought she looked beautiful. With a deep breath, she sighed out, "I think I'm ready."

Inna nodded, opening the door of her old bedroom. Even though she had moved into the master bedroom with Zandik, most of her items stayed in her old room. When getting ready for big events, it benefited everyone if she just got ready in there.

She descended the stairs in the foyer to meet with Zandik. Noticing his smile, she matched his. He was dressed in a more formal, militaristic outfit.he reached out his gloved hand, waiting for her to take it.

"You look stunning this evening." He lifted the hand he held her with, twirling her around to see the whole of her.

Once she had stopped twirling she beamed. "You can thank Inna for that."

He looked over her shoulder to see Inna behind her, giving a slight bow to him. "We do not want to be late."

Y/N nodded in agreement as they grabbed their heavy coats from the servant that held them. After securing it around her shoulders, she followed Zandik out into the cold. It was nearing summer time in the frigid country, but that didn't stop it from being unbearably cold.

Zandik helped her into the carriage before getting in. After they settled in and the cart began to move, she finally asked "So what is this party for again?"

"An important mission has been successfully completed." He greatly paraphrased. "One of many, hopefully"

"What was that mission?" She questioned, not quite understanding why it would warrant such a big party.

"It is too complicated for your understanding." He was trying to avoid telling her.

She frowned at the insult. "Well we have more than enough time for you to explain."

He sighed, knowing she would not give up on the topic. On top of that, everyone else at the party knew, so someone would end up telling her at some point, so better explained by him. "Do you know what a Gnosis is?" He questioned to see how much she knew before explaining. She shook her head. "It is a vision for Archons."

"Archons have visions?" She asked surprised. "I thought they were born with that power, which is why they are Archons in the first place."

"Archon's do have natural powers. Gnosis' boost that power greatly." He shook his head in disagreement. "One of my fellow Harbingers has obtained the Gnosis of Barbatos."

Y/N's eyes widened in shock, not understanding how that was even possible. "And we are not going to be facing the wrath of Barbatos?"

Chuckling slightly at her words, he continued. "No. Archons have not needed the power of the Gnosis' in hundreds of years. It was quite simple to obtain one. We merely need the other five."

"Will you be sent on a mission to collect one?" She questioned how this would play a part in her life.

"Yes, and I intend to succeed." He said profoundly. "That is why we went to Sumeru."
