| She Doesn't Have To Know |

Melissa, Pink, Mitch, and Don drove to the moon tower in Pinks El Camino, the statutes painted to look like two of the members from kiss lay in the bed.

"Come on, give it back." Don tells Mitch before they erupt into laughter from the back seat.

They pull onto the grass, Rock and roll all night by Kiss blasting through speakers littered on the ground in multiple spaces so you could hear the music from pretty much everywhere you went.

Melissa was waiting around a crowd, for her turn to get beer from the keg. The music was blaring, people were dancing, smoking and enjoying their teenage years. Time seemed to stop for her, she didn't know how much time had passed since they got there and to be honest, she didn't care.

Pink was standing next to Don and Mitch, he found himself watching his fluffy haired girlfriend. She stood in a crowd, a can of beer in hand with three guys, all of them shotgunning it to see who could down the can the fastest. When Melissa won he wasn't surprised, she could beat anyone who challenged her at shotgunning.

Pink whistled at his girlfriend when she threw her arms up in victory. She looked over to see him as well as Don who was clapping in amusement at her victory.

Melissa walked towards Pink after he'd beckoned her over, the two were leaning against someone's car, his arm hung over her shoulders loosely.

"I knew you'd win, man." Don says with a satisfied smile.

"Thanks, Donny." Melissa smirked.

"What can I say, you're the shotgun queen." Don replies with a mocking bow.

"Hey." Melissa tapped Pinks chest with the back of her hand to gain his attention. "That's..." she paused when she realized his name slipped her mind, the only thing she knew was that he was one of Randy's friends.

Pink followed her gaze and spotted Mike Newhouse and Clint Bruno, the latter going at Mike's throat. He shrugged his shirt off as he pushed Newhouse causing him to stumble.

Pink rushed into action, pulling Clint away from Newhouse. "Relax. Relax. He's cool, man. Relax." Pink told him as he pushed Clint back.

"Hey, I'll be watchin' you, Newton." Clint scoffed. "I only came here to do two things, man— kick some ass and drink some beer."

"Oh, I believe it Bruno." Melissa hollered from her spot leaning against a car not too far away.

"You know it Jackson." He said as he pointed at her.

"You okay, man?" Pink asked Newhouse as the started walking farther away from Clint and his gang of potheads.

"Yeah."

Melissa and the boys stood at the bottom of the moon tower, looking up it to see how far they'd have to climb.

"Why's it called the moon tower anyway?" Mitch asked the group as they started climbing.

"Uh, I guess they just decided to put it up here..." Pink replied as he made his way up the ladder. "Whenever they were buildin' the power plant. Actually, it's a good idea. You got a full moon out here every day of the year, you know?"

Melissa continued to climb up, glancing at Slater and Pickford who decided to hang off the ladder to let them pass.

"Yeah, but nothings ever been repaired, so this whole place could fall down at any time. So you better watch your step junior." Pickford warned before letting out a whoa as he pretended to fall off the tower.
