Love is really a strange feeling. Sometimes it makes you hurt the people whom you love just because they did something wrong with you. Or sometimes you just don't want that person to suffer just because they are your loved ones. Evan, surely disliked his Maasi. But he, never in his wildest dreams thought that Kavin would sent her to jail just because she hurt him. He wanted to stay away from her but never wanted her to suffer. Because at last she was his Maasi.
He was sitting alone on the ground in the backyard of his house, when he felt someone sitting beside him. He turned to find Dushyant on his level smilling softly at him. Evan turned again to look at nothing particular. Dushyant smiled seeing him giving attitude. He then started speaking to no one particular.
" Once, I and Kavin were sent on a mission. We were told to catch some goons and bring them back alive because we wanted some information. We were fighting when suddenly one of them pointed a gun at me. I stopped and looked at Kavin. He gestured me to stay still. Soon with Kavin's gesture as a signal, I attacked the one who held me at gunpoint. I caught him and Kavin came and took him from my grip. He started beating him furiously. Why ? Just because he held me at gunpoint. I still remember his exact words. " What do you think that the bullets in your gun have the audacity to scare us ? If you are brave enough then fight without weapons. Then I will show you what the real audacity is known as." And with that he again started beating him. I stopped him and took him out. "
Evan looked at Dushyant with amusement in his eyes. He was shocked and surprised to found this new information about Kavin. Dushyant further continued.
" The only reason for me to tell you all this is that Kavin has always been like this. No one messes with his loved ones. And even if anyone dares to, he will make sure they are not spared before they get the punishment they deserve. EVERY CRIME HAS ITS PUNISHMENT. Maybe it may take time but the one who commits the crime will surely be punished. The more delay, the more severe. Do you want your Maasi to stay in jail for years after the court orders. Or you want your Maasi to be out in 15 days ? Bachha, I am just telling you that let her suffer for her wrong deeds. She might realise her mistake. And I don't think Kavin did something wrong. Because if you get to know that someone has hurt the person closest to your heart, you will never be able to sit quietly and do nothing. Unless you are coward. And Kavin is anything but Coward."
Evan kept looking straight before nodding. He slowly stood up and went inside the house. Dushyant sighed and decided to follow him. Evan went near Kavin and gently wrapped his hands around him. Kavin took him in his arms and he sighed leaning on his chest.
