Chapter 4 ~ The Talk

A Few Hours Earlier

Kokushibo walks towards Lord Muzan's office after being called by Muzan himself to talk with him there. He wonders what Muzan wants him for.

In Muzans Office

Narrator's POV

Muzan called Kokushibo into his office. Kokushibo walks into the office takes a seat, and asks Muzan why he was called to his office. Muzan's response was, "I called you here to talk about Akaza." What about Akaza, Kokushibo replied to muzan.

Kokushibo's POV

Why would muzan want to talk about akaza? My thought was answered when Muzan responded with, "I want to talk about akaza because you seem very interested in him, and I wanted to tell you that since he's my favorite, I will be keeping a close eye on you and how you handle things from now on with Akaza" I was shocked at what he just said but I responded with that I understand and I would watch myself when around him. "You are now dismissed from my office, Kokushibo." said the demon lord Muzan himself. I took my leave and headed back to my room.

Back With Akaza

Akaza's POV

I was at Muzan's office door. I was called to come in. I got on one knee apologized for intruding, and asked if I had any other mission at the moment he said "Not at the moment so you are dismissed" I replied with ok and left heading back to my room. I slept in till nightfall. I then went to ask nakime to teleport me to the forest. With one swing of her Biwa. I was back in the forest sitting with my feet in the water. In the very same spot I found, about a week ago. I sat there enjoying the view.

In The Mansion

Narrator's POV

In the main area were Daki, Gyutaro, Nakime, Douma, as well Kokushibo were chilling out. Kokushibo hasn't seen Akaza the whole day. Except for seeing him going into Muzan's office. Kokushibo not seeing Akaza in the main area made him worried, and with the overwhelming feeling that something bad was about to happen. Him just not knowing if akaza is safe is what scares him so due to this feeling. He goes to nakime and requests her to teleport him to Akaza's whereabouts. He was soon teleported into a forest.

Nakime's POV

I haven't seen Kokushibo worry about anyone else In the way, he worries for Akaza. I heard him mumbling about having a feeling that something bad was going to happen. I hope that isn't the case. I swung my biwa. Teleporting Kokushibo to the forest akaza requested to go earlier.

In The Forest

Narrator's POV

Kokushibo wandered in the forest, looking for akaza. There was a loud crack sound that Kokushibo heard deep in the forest. As Kokushibo ran closer to the noise. Kokushibo felt his heart race, thinking the noise may have come from akaza. Due to this train of thought Kokushibo ran even faster to find the source.

With Akaza

Akaza's POV

I was relaxing near the pond until a harshira came over and attacked me relentlessly at that. I tried to convey to her that I don't eat women or harm women in any matter. But she kept attacking, so I fled to get away from her, but she was still hot on my tail. one of her attacks struck me on my back. I felt weak and ill due to the attack. if that's even possible it was like her blade was coated with some kind of poison, but I kept running. Knocking down trees to slow her down but she was able to get another hit on me. Due to the attack and probably the increase of poison in my body. I soon fell to the ground as watched her slowly approach me with her blade. She got in a stance to finish me off, but I soon fell into unconsciousness.
