Recap

Until our laughter was interrupted by a sound that seemed like it came from the living room...

Narrator's POV

As chaos erupts in the living room. Let's go back to before the fight between the two Upper Moons even began. It was at least a couple of hours after Nakime left to find Daki and her brother. Kokushibo walks into the main area to make some tea. After he makes his tea, he sits down on the couch and grabs the remote by pushing the power button, which turns the TV on. He sat there watching TV and drinking his tea.

Until Akaza walks out of his room to talk with kokushibo about something. Akaza loops around the couch and sits next to kokushibo. Akaza turns to look at Kokushibo with his honey-like eyes. Akaza asks kokushibo if he could move into his room. Akaza also asks when should we tell the others about our relationship. Kokushibo replied to akaza first question with yes. To his second question, kokushibo said soon.

Akaza got up from his spot and went to sit on Kokushibo's lap. Akaza pulled himself under Kokushibo's kimono. They were like that for hours until Akaza went to his room to sleep because he was tired. Kokushibo sat there watching TV even after Akaza left. That soon will be his biggest mistake.

About an hour later that is where all of it began. When Douma walked into the room. Kokushibo immediately was on the defensive once he walked in. Douma gave Kokushibo an opinion or what Kokushibo would call a threat with Douma making him choose between never speaking or interacting with Akaza again or being killed. Kokushibo replied with nether. That's when Douma dives towards Kokushibo, but ends up missing due to Kokushibo dodging his attack.

Kokushibo's POV

I dodged the attack that Douma tried to aim directly at me. I look to see what he tried to attack me with. I looked over to see it was a syringe with some liquid inside that looked a purplish black. It seems to have broken with the impact when it made contact with the floor. Douma looked profusely angry at me if I ruined his master plan or simply a fantasy in his case. I asked Douma why he was doing this. His reply was simply for Akaza-dono to be mine and only mine.

It seemed that reasoning with him was out of the question at this point and he does this when Muzan is on vacation per se. I got my sword ready, but I kept in mind to avoid doing too much damage to the area. We clashed for what seemed to be hours. It wasn't clashing for me because I was on the defensive to avoid damaging the area we were fighting in. I saw Akaza come out of his room out of the corner of my eyes.

Akaza comes in between me and Douma and yells for us to stop, but one of Douma's attacks hasn't stopped. The moment that I realized this was seconds too late. The attack hit Akaza's side, sending him flying into the wall. I ran over to him and asked if he was OK, but he was knocked out cold on the ground.

Something inside of me snapped. I didn't know what, but I knew one thing that was on my mind at the very moment was ANGER. Towards Douma, especially.
