Chapter 9 ~ Tension

Recap

Like something was there, especially between the two moons. Upper 1 and upper 2 or some say Kokushibio and Douma. Like there was TENSION in the room.

Kokushibio's POV

Akaza finally came out of his room after being locked in there for days. I thought it was a blessing, but he looked uncomfortable when he looked at Douma. I looked over to Douma, having a hunch he was the reason akaza hadn't come out of his room until now. I got up to ask akaza if he was alright. He replied that he was fine and just wanted some space for a couple of days. I replied, "All alright, as long as you're fine." I followed akaza, asking him if maybe he could take me to his favorite spot in the forest tomorrow. akaza accepted my offer. I was on my way to leave to go back to my room. I told akaza goodbye and left.

Douma's POV

After Kokushibio left Akaza's side, I went to talk to akaza. He seemed very annoyed by me, but I didn't care. I continued talking to akaza for an hour. I told akaza to meet me at my cult nightfall.  I soon left to go to my cult to prepare for this big night on where I will confess my love for akaza.

Narrator's POV

Akaza stood in shock at what Douma had said, knowing very well he did not recuperate the feelings Douma had for him. To not come off as rude, he would meet Douma at his cult later tonight. Akaza soon heads for his room to get ready for the big rejection he is going to say to Douma.

Later That Night At The Cult

Narrator's POV

Douma got everything ready. Candles were lit. Him wearing his best red suit. The table is decorated with beautiful utensils. Now he just waited, and five minutes passed. He was about to give up, but a pink head of hair popped in, and it was akaza. After getting akaza seated, they enjoyed their luxurious dinner. Then Douma popped the question saying "Will marry me Akaza-dono" akaza reply was "NO" Douma's whole world shattered after hearing those words and to make it worse akaza said "I love someone else" akaza then left after saying such heart-wrenching words. Douma then left the scene to cry into his pillow all night. Over the harsh rejection.

Akaza walked into the mansion looking for Nakime to tell her what happened between him and Douma, knowing very well that Daki and Gyutrao were sleeping. They talked for hours about how akaza felt about the situation and that he loved kokushibio instead of Douma.

The Next Day

Narrator's POV

Douma was still in shambles over Akaza's rejection toward him. And hadn't come out of his room for the whole morning. Later in the night, kokushibio knocks on Akaza's door. Akaza opens the door and lets kokushibio in his room. kokushibio asks if he is ready. akaza says to give him one minute. kokushibio waits on the bed for akaza to finish whatever he is doing. akaza finishes getting ready they both ask nakime to teleport them to the forest. They arrive at the forest. akaza guided them to the spot where he usually enjoys the view.

Akaza's POV

Kokushibio and I sat down, enjoying the nice pond with trees that glistened with light. As if the trees were magical in some way. The pond that was so beautifully clear glowing within the moonlight. I moved to lean in to lie on Kokushibio's shoulder. I felt his eyes on me, but I didn't mind. I was enjoying the view. Until he looked at me and asked the question I had been waiting long for...
