Chapter 14 ~ Announcement

Kokushibo's POV

 I headed towards Nakime's room. After being let into her room, Nakime and I talked for at least an hour. She suggested I tell muzan about it once he is back tomorrow. I agreed with her suggestion. I soon left her room and went to the hall closet to get clean supplies. Daki and Gyutoro seemed to be cleaning the main area. I walked over to them and told them I would clean it, but they insisted on helping clean the mess up. After cleaning up, I headed back to my room to rest. I got into the bed with akaza wrapping my arms around him. I rested my head on his and went to sleep a little while after that.

The Next Morning

Kokushibo's POV

I went to Muzan's office to tell him what happened between me and Douma. I didn't leave anything out on my explanation. He seemed visibly angry on what I just told him, especially about one of Douma's attacks hitting akaza. He said he would handle it and I was dismissed. After leaving his office, I went back to my room walking in to see akaza awake. The first thing I asked him was "if he was ok." He replied, "Yes, just a bit in pain." I left to get some pain medication and a glass of water.

After he took the medicine and drank the water I gave. I asked, "When we would announce that we are together to the other uppermoons?" Akaza said, "Why not tell them today?" I asked, "Are you sure." His reply was, "Yes." I told akaza that I would tell them so he could rest and not to put anymore stress on his body. He agreed

Narrator's POV

As the rest of the day passes by, it soon reaches 6 pm. That is when Kokushibo announces to the other uppermoons of his and akaza relationship. None of the moons seemed to object to them being together. They were mostly happy for them. Douma was called to Muzan's office an hour before so he wasn't there when kokushibo told the others.

Muzan was going to kill Douma for what he had done to his favorite upper moon at first but chose to punish him instead knowing he would need him for the battle against the slayers. So Muzan wipes Douma's memory of his love for akaza, his hatred towards kokushibo, and his emotions altogether.

After that, the day went by as normal. A couple of days after the announcement. Akaza soon moved all his belongings to Kokushibo's room with kokushibo helping him of course, not wanting akaza to overwork himself.

Kokushibo has always been next to akaza ever since. If not next to him. He was near the vicinity of him. Muzan did get annoyed about this at first, but he soon saw it as an advantage knowing if things got serious kokushibo would step in due to him watching over Akaza. Akaza seems to be giving his best in his mission and in every battle he gets in to prove to Kokushibo that he can handle himself. 

Muzan sees this as a win-win knowing Akaza has been drastically improving in getting stronger and that his favorite uppermoon life is secured especially since he is most loyal and needed. He's content with kokushibo being with akaza on his missions. He now assigns kokushibo to follow and watch akaza on his missions to see how he has improved.

As Months Passed

Kokushibo's POV

It has been months since I and akaza told the uppermoons. Muzan called all of us down for a meeting in an hour. The meeting was about the final fight with the slayers. Muzan told us that it might be the last time that we all were going to be together like this after the battle and that he wishes all of us luck in the battle. The meeting was dismissed after that everyone went around saying their goodbyes to one another. After akaza and I said our goodbyes to the others. We went to bed I woke up in the early hours of the morning akaza soon woke up after me. I turned to look at akaza to tell him...
